- College campus is beautiful. It's full of greenery and the little gardens with a variety of flowers, they are soothing and refreshing.
- Teachers are supportive . Faculty is great , their teaching style is also good . Our teachers supported us , they were always willing to help. Took my retests as I was not able to give at time.
- Students are friendly and interactive. My seniors were also really supportive.
Dislikes
- I Didn't really understood the placement system. I never came to know about the companies coming to college for placements. This should be improved.
Course Curriculum Overview
Bcom is a course most of the commerce students prefer for graduation. As a CA student I chose bcom as the syllabus aligns with CA course syllabus. The course and curriculum are no doubt great but I think there should be little changes in teaching style . Emphasis should be there on practical learning and understanding the concepts deeply , to better prepare for the real world experience. However teachers and their understanding of subjects is really good , classes are not taken regularly. Most of the time classes stand cancelled. That's a negative point. The exam timings are quite comfortable. Difficulty level , as per me is average and good for the course. Practicals are also taken before theory exams .
Internships Opportunities
Different companies have provided intership opportunities for students at college. The placement cell provides intership offers for commerce students. Companies like kinghills , estrange aurora , Nahar om etc provided interships for job profiles like technical team members, analyst and management assistant, relationship management intern , etc. Stipends generally range from 5000-15000 , it could be more depending on the company and job profile.
Fees and Financial Aid
The annual fees for initial year was around 7k that's quite good. But it kept increasing till third year . It hiked from 7k to around 9k in second year and reached around 11k in third year . Financial aids are available for students but I don't know specifically because never availabled one. Fees payment system is quite comfortable and easy and it's totally digital . Overall the course is affordable compared to other courses and college of Delhi University. I haven't taken any campus employment but there are opportunities for students. There are internship opportunities provided . Stipends awarded are also good. You can go for bcom program in motilal , it's affordable and good.
Campus Life
There are various fests organised by student union and different departments. The annual fest was thrilling! Commerce department has its various societies including the placement cell , enactus , etc . There are other societies too like women development cell and connecting dreams foundation. These student run groups and societies provide students with great exposure and opportunities to develop their personality and character.
Admission
Admission process is easy . There are cut offs for different categories, general , SC , ST , Tribes etc . You can apply after completing 12th . I got admission at a cut off of 93% for general category . Reservation get additional benefits as cut offs go low for them. The admission fee was around 20000. Whole admission procedure is completed from home , there is no need for physical appearnace , that's a plus point.
Faculty
Faculty is great as per my experience. Teachers are friendly and supportive. They had good understanding of the subjects they were teaching, my learning experience was good. We can interact with them and approach them for any kind of guidance. One of our teachers used to share reels with some students of class on insta . He was great.
