Kirorimal college is well know for its aluminai network the most famous personality is amitabh bacchan.There are plenty amount of society you can join any of them that helps to improve yourself as a person and a good communicator.
Campus life is very nice, you can talk and approach to anyone everybody is so helpful. Seniors are also very helpful if you are having any problem you can discuss it with your seniors.
Faculty is very supportive and easy to approach them if you are having any problem whether in your studies or career. KMC is known for its fest and cultural events. KMC is one of the best college of north campus delhi university.

Dislikes

I don't find any thing that I didn't like, everything is perfect.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum is very good, course is designed in way such that you have theory classes along with labs. Let's take an example of chemistry (hons) course . The beauty of this course is you are not only learning things in theory but you can apply it in your practical labs , how we perform reaction's in real world. I think course should be more advanced for present needs of industry. The exam pattern is like that there is final exam after every semester end and the difficulty level is moderate.

Internships Opportunities

There are plenty amount of internship opportunities in our college that you can do. University itself provide the internship that you can do in your summer break along with that you can give some pannel interview of some companies if you crack that you can do that along with that you can do some of other internship as well.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee structure os like that you have to pay the fees once a year along with that there are schlorships of colleges and university along with that there are some government schlorships along with that you can do internship in summer break and many more.

Campus Life

There is an annual fest in our college that is RESSAINANCE some of the very popular artist came to perform in the fest. The library section of the college is so good you can issue anu book that you want to study, along with that classrooms are spacious with projector facilities along with that you have sports facility (it includes cricket ground, football ground, basket ball court, tennis, vollyball court, badminton court, and some of indoor games) , along with that there are plenty amount of socities and clubs that you can join for your overall development.

Admission

After your 12th board exams to take the admission in delhi university you have to give cuet exam based on 12th syllabus you can get every notification on cuet. samarth. In after your exam you will participate in the csas councelling and according to the marks you get in cuet a college will be alloted to you.

Faculty

Faculty members are super supportive and easily approachable. You can ask any thing that you want to ask. In a theory class the faculty-to-student ratio is 1:70 but in labs the ratio is 2:40. Faculty members are highly educated all of them are phd holders from IIT'S and some of the best foreign universities in Europe and USA along with that all the professors secured good ranks in CSIR NET JRF and GATE and done a good number of research programs and their approach towards problem solving is quite unique and their approach in teaching is great.

THE ALL ROUNDER

Likes

The college has a very beautiful greeny campus.
The library is just the best thing that the college has , it is the largest in du, with computers study area all books and magazines newspaper and other necessities.
The students and teachers are very kind helpful ambitious and intelligent , you will learn a lot here.

Dislikes

The administration sometimes works too slowly regarding dew things.
The canteen is very big and food is also nice but in rain water gets concentrated there.

Placement Experience:

it is said that the placements of this college are good and average being 10LPA and 17 LPA the highest. Many companies come for the placement drive every year and many of seniors have got placement in their third year.

Likes

Greenery of college campus and surrounding areas
Close metro access and other basic amenities
Diverse crowd which allows good exposure overall

Dislikes

Wifi Network is slow and not available at all places in campus

Course Curriculum Overview:

Life science includes zoology botany and chemistry considering this combo I think the study material is quite okay in terms of topics chemistry connects school teaching with one step ahead learning . Zoology provides new insights on various topics . Botany covers deeper understanding of syllabus . So overall it's good . Hands on lab work meets the demand of the subject . Also the topics taught match with the type of questions asked in exam. Difficulty level i would say it's moderate for botany and zoology but for chemistry is quite tough. Time management is a much needed skill for examination purpose. For course curriculum i would say more focus on current situation should be laid rather than history .

venky is one of the best college in south campus

Likes

ratio of girls to boys is almost equal and students are well behaved
quality of social interaction is good students are cooperative
college societies are helpful for students and provide good guiding

Dislikes

our campus have 30+ dogs which is sometimes harmful for students
there is a language barrier between students and teachers
EVs faculty is very strict and they are not cooperative

The life at SVC

Likes

The fees is quite affordable, giving you a lot of flexibility for other academic programs/ commitments
The college has a great reputation and brand value
The exposure that the college provides in real life

Dislikes

The infrastructure is old and outdated, has a lot of scope for improvement
The administrative work is very slow and includes too much formalities
Low focus on co curricular activities and sports

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible for campus placements in the 3rd year of their graduation. Various companies offer multiple roles for placements on our campus like Nation With NaMo, Deloitte, KPMG, Accenture etc. and the no. of offers made usually varies between 250-400 depending on the batch. The average package is around 6.5-7 LPA and the highest usually varies from 13-15 LPA L. Usually 50 percent of the students get placed directly from campus and rest usually pursue some other academic programs or even off campus placements.

the location, nearest metro station ie Durgabai Deshmukh South Campus is at a walking distance of 2-5 mins
the crowd, students are quite decent and friendly.
opportunities, in college itself there are so many opportunities for students to explore through college societies

Dislikes

classes are canceled sometimes without any prior notice which creates a hassle for students coming from far away.

Placement Experience:

the placements of sri venkateswara college are quite good. campus placements are offered for third and fourth year students to the best of my knowledge. the average ctc offered was of 6.43 lacs, highest of 13.4 lpa. many great companies like bain and company, bcg, ey, deloitte, pwc, goldman sachs, accenture, rsa offered placements. in total, 70+ companies came and about 115+ students were placed.

I like the atmosphere in our college. Our college promotes us to think beyond the boundaries.
We have lush green campus in vivek vihar . Our campus is surrounded by parks and we'll managed societies.
The student in our college share a very good mindset . Each student has some unique qualities or the other .

Dislikes

The faculty is not very good here . The teachers don't listen to problems faced by the students .
Our college's online presence is very disturbed. Our college website lags a lot and there are always issues with attendence.
The authorities are not very well managed .

Course Curriculum Overview:

I think that the course curriculum is good and well managed . The curriculum has all necessary subjects related to our course as well as all other necessary subjects like human values and basic ethics. I find our course curriculum is apt for our course . Thought their is a lag for more practical learning and skills. It will be better if they add more practical learning.

The Honest Opinion about Hansraj College

Likes

The College provides great Exposure to everyone.
The Crowd and Societies of the College are always active and energetic.

Dislikes

The whole structure of Admin office is underdeveloped, which utilizes a lot of our precious time.
Many of the College events are ill-organised.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The syllabus of Electronics Hons and Electrical Engineering is same but makes it different is how we perceive it. We study the syllabus with theoretical aspects while the engineers with practical aspects. We have a chance to opt for the 4th year, which only comprises of Research. One of the optionals is Generic Elective and if you take GE from same department for all semesters, you will attain a minor degree. The Faculties and whole curriculum is great but the other optionals require improvement. The other optionals only make the Student Life hectic, that stumbles the Student's focus from Course track.

See...I kept Hindu college as my first reference in CSAS portal, and KMC was my 3rd preference after St Stephen's. I kept around 36 colleges with different courses. The reason I didn't keep KMC below all the colleges that I kept below KMC is because of it's upper edge in terms of academics, faculty members, location and their ranks. After I got KMC, I was really happy and when I realised that the possibilities of me getting Hindu or St Stephen's College were less, I was bit upset. But my sadness didn't last long cause later on after researching about KMC in detail I realised that it's no different from all the other colleges of North campus and some of the south campus colleges. KM COLLEGE - FILLED WITH COMPLAINTS ?

I chose it over others since it's the only north campus college with a good reputation and name providing Political Science Honours other than Hindu college , I preferred Hindu over it but due to inadequate marks I couldn't qualify for Hindu . And being a male limits my scope of availing colleges like Miranda House or LSR . Ok so I have a whole journey of my admission process . In the first round of my allocation i got confirmed admission in hansraj college for history hons then I applied for upgradation n then I got miranda house for same course but I was not happy with my course n then in round 3 under cw category I got pol science hons in kmc college I know I have already got good colleges in initial round but for my preferred course I decided to sacrifice my colleges . The admission process of kmc is quite smooth like within half of a day I got my admission confirmed there n even after coming late they reopen their erp portal for choosing different papers for those students who got upgradation in later rounds ....Read More

KMC is Karizmatic!!

St Stephens as for BSc it is arguably one of the best colleges of DU. The cut-off was just missed by some points or else, i would have been there. College wise we are also among the best and to get admissions here, CUET (UG) and then once the results are out, CSAS portal is where i registered. I booked my seat through there and locked ut before it was gone. Yes, sometimes we miss out on our favourite college due to that but it is inevitable to lock that on time as well....Read More
