Teachers are very cooperative. Staffs are very nice.
Most of the people are very humble. Classes have nice facilities.

Attendance criteria of 75 percent. It must be improved.
Campus is very small. Campus is shared by both SNU and our college.

Course curriculum may be u can say backdated because everything is governing by the MAKAUT university. But teachers are very responsible in this case and you can also learn some new skills or internships, they are very much active.

There are several companies are hiring from our college. But in internship case, you must have to learn some extra skills, or you can do something by your own. College supports you from the back door...

Placement Experience

Our college placement is average. When IITians remains unemployed then don't have so much hopes in your mind regarding placement or job. One thing is clear that if you will work hard enough then you will be successful.

Fees and Financial Aid

Our fee structure define in a way such that you have to pay almost rupees 80 thousand per semester. Scholarships are easily available for the West Bengal Domicile students but there will be some chaos for others.

Campus Life

The infrastructure is also more than average. But one thing is there are so many number of classrooms. You can involve and participate in any club from very first year. It includes singing, dancing, art, vocals talkies, hackathons.

Admission

Admission process is simple, just you have to give any entrance exam then sit in West Bengal joint counselling then you get your college as per your rank. There are three rounds for your counselling. There is also a Management Quota.

Faculty

Faculties are very nice. They are very much cooperative. We have 3 teachers for each and every subjects. In our department, teachers have magnificent amount of knowledge and u will also convince very easily by their teaching technique.

Placement Experience:

At JGEC,campus placements begin mostly from the 6th/final year semester,when students become eligible .I recent years many well-known companies have visited such as Pinnacle Infotech,Synnova Gears & Transmissions Pvt.Ltd,,TCS,Jyesta corporate Entity and many more.The highest package was around 54 LPA form Google ,While the overall average is 10.2LPA.Many students also take internships, industrial training or prepare for higher studies(GATE) rather than accepting direct placement immediately.The exact percentage of student getting palcement is no where.But last year the percentage placed is 70%.

Overall the placement percentage of the college is good for both the core and non-core courses almost near 90%. All the students in there 3rd year i.e. in their 5th or 6th semester are elegible for campus placements.
