Course Curriculum Overview

4

The curriculum focus on saving life that drives me to opt for the course and do it with my full dedication. The curriculum at AIIMS prepares u very well even at 2nd year they are teaching u how to diagnose diseases and their management, clinical involvement is more as I said thus completing the course and you are well prepared as a doctor. As u know it's the number 1 medical college so the teaching methods here are already top grade along with curriculum, but if you want any change then I will suggest to lower down the college hours as you are completely exhausted currently in my hour my college hours is 8 hours. Exams are held in every 2and half months, paper is made from the best books especially foreign authors so difficulty level is moderate.

Internships Opportunities

4

Medical internship starts in 5th year within the college itself u get to learn from well experienced doctors a vast clinical exposure, exposure to all the latest equipment's in medical field. You get a stipend of around 30000 .

Fees and Financial Aid

No such tuition fee increase policy already tuition fee is very less total fee for 5 years including hostel, tuition , practical, exam all comes under 5856 rupee. Some scholarships are there but h have to apply for them but generally you don't need scholarship as fee is very less, no need for financial aid . Stipend as a intern is around 30000 which is i think Highest in country.

Here at AIIMS Delhi campus life is best, you get to experience the biggest med fest of Asia that's pulse it's generally held in September also there is fest only for AIIMS students infest where u compete with other batches in various activities from sports to dance and others. Library here harbors the best books both Indian and foreign authors, large resource of journals research papers I mean u can get anything related to medicine related here . Faculty

5

It's AIIMS Delhi the best medical college in country, faculty to students ratio is very good if batch is divided into groups then 1 faculty is for every 13 or sometimes 8 students. The faculties here are best in their fields they are great doctors you can learn everything possible here even things which u are intended to learn in pg . They will load u with lots of knowledge both clinical and theoretical, but clinical is emphasized more. Going through their credentials you will find almost everyone is have a work experience of minimum 7 years all of them are involved in some type of research works funded by the national government itself , they are heads of many Medicine related committees which leads the whole country's colleges in the same. Their mentorship is like u are surrounded with the best people, they are very approachable u can meet them daily directly texts them, they allow you to ask any doubt any time , you can interact with them daily.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is very well structured and includes detailed study of all the aspects of medicine which is very relevant in today's world. Since mbbs curriculum is more about practical and less about theory we get a really good patient exposure which makes us ready to deal with patient problems in real life. The course curriculum can be made a little less hectic as in fourth year there are 11 subjects to cover so they can be distributed equally in all the other years and teaching methods can be made more interactive instead of professors just reading the slides monotonously

Curriculum of mbbs is very comprehensive and makes you capable of handling medical emergencies, and not miss out on diagnosing critical cases. With the new CBME curriculum by nmc in place, additional focus is also given on the AETCOM (attitude, ethics and communication) module which is aimed at improving the quality of healthcare professionals produced by this country.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is decided by the NMC therefore it is same for all of the doctors. Our college has a good clinical exposure and thus we learn a lot. The course prepares you well, but you always have to learn by yourself. In the area of clinical expertise the treatment of common disease must be taught separately. We have exams Nearly every 3 months, which can be tough to manage, considering that you have to score an average of more than 50% in them . Difficulty level is intermediate

The MBBS COURSE is a professional course and popular course all over the world. In this you have better opportunities after the course you can increase your qualification by MD, MS after MBBS. MBBS is less chance to job less you can do the job in any hospital as a doctor (physician) or any specialist after MD. And also you can start your clinic. Facility students ration is less but it's enough 10-12 members of faculties in one subject but In UCM students also 170 in one batch So the ratio is good Faculties are more qualified and well experienced.
