Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is based on stages of learning. In the initial primary year we learn about the basics of the course then as the term progress we learn about different aspects of the course and in the final year it is all applications of what we have kearnt in previous 3 years. In internship we apply the knowledge we gained and get experienced from direct contact with the patients. The frequency of examination is one year it's pretty well time for getting a good hold on subject.
Internships Opportunities
As a mbbs student internship is provided by college for an year to all the students where we get experience and learnings from seniors and doctors. We even have 3months postings at periphery of district at PHC, irkalgada ans CHC, munirabad., where we will be first hand treating the patiends. We as a yound doctors get to understand many surgical and emergency procedures, the protocols of treating the discipline in our work.
Fees and Financial Aid
The college fee varies between 65k to 80k depending on the students term. There is no much of hike that we can see. Hostel fee costs 9k per annum and mess would cost approximately 37k as it is operated by students. The hike can be seen only in mess bill according to months but apart from that there is no such hike. Ssp scholarship for karnataka state students is available, a scholarship for child of farmer is available which we can apply. Other scholarship include sc/st scholarship. During internship we get stipend of 30k/month
Campus Life
Annually two main events will be held 1) sports days 2) cultural event. But every year due to one or other reason only one of the two events will be held. Yearly graduation ceremony will be held a long with cultural events for the interns. Othe celebrating events like independence day, republic day will be celebrated. There is no student run social clubs. Extracurricular activities is par low in this campus. Classroom facilities is well maintained but many repair work are yet to be done with availability of AC. Every year twice there will be blood donation camp and visit to oldage home. Books availability in library is good, can get the latest edition books, we have a wide range of availability of books rekated to course.
Hostel Facilities
A room is accomodates 3 inmates with attached bathroom and toilet. Meal quality is not upto mark and menu is revised almost now and then. Histel registration is easy process with detailed during admission process. A warden is available for admission works and for mess look after.
Admission
A student can get through NEET of pursuing mbbs.the for person receiding out of karnataka can apply through all india Counciling and a person from karnataka can get through kCET counselling process. Application form will be available in the college website and the admission related queries will be delt by the KCET informations and college website. Reservation benefit is highly available as our college comes under hyderabad karnata,
Faculty
Teaching staff is upto the mark in the college. A subject contain around 4-5 teaching staffs and other teaching faculties. Faculty give their best in making us understand about the subject. As we have SGD teachers give there mentorship to students, but at last all it matters is how a student utilize the facilities provided to him. Teacher student interaction is pretty good, they are available until the college hours, can approach the staff any time required and they welcome us for clarification of doubts.
