- The overall experience was amazing... Even, you can consider SBSC in your top choices, if you're going to pursue Bcom hons / programme, Ba English / Geography / economics / political science... The aura of college for respective courses is too good.
- Now, come to the societies and clubs.. the societies of the college are ofcourse not the best but they're too good. The societies of the Sbsc are the most active societies in overall DU. most of the time, you'll see that there is something happening.
- Faculty of the college. They're too supportive, even the teachers are too good, we can share anything with most of them & the big pros. is that's the PLACEMENT CELL is quite amazing, if you're a commercian, than you can expect a quite good package..
Dislikes
- First thing is, the college is not too big as generally people make the perceptions in their mind. Because most of the colleges are not as big as compare to IIT's IIM's .. Yes, and that's the truth, even all DU colleges have not an enormous campus...
- Second thing is, the college has not their own Auditorium... They've to go somewhere if they want to organise a big conference or something like that ...& That's a big minus point regarding the NIRF rankings, that's why generally we don't see the
- Sbsc even in top 20 of DU, but it is ... The third thing is, the college isn't in main south campus, so yes, you can't get the same vibe as compare to North Campus, but yes, there's one more College beside to SBSC.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course of BA program is not quite amazing and good. But yes we can say that This college can provide you with the best regarding the BA program in the overall South campus. There are certain types of combinations in which you can secure your admission.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure is quite amazing, even I was shocked when I saw the fee structure first time. The fee is very very affordable. Generally, you've to pay approx. 40 to 50k for your overall college life. Even, in this also, colleges provide scholarships for some students Regarding the scholarship criteria, you can visit the college website.
Campus Life
Yes, if we talk about overall experience then yes, it was amazing for sure. But, yes we had not too big a campus and had no hostel facility in the college itself. So, yes it couldn't be like the B.Tech colleges. And MBBS colleges. The infrastructure is also quite good and well-maintained.
Admission
I had secured my admission through the cut-off-based system. I've got it Ba program at 96% in the second cut-off, in the general category But, now the CUET score is mainly considered regarding the admission process...
Faculty
Most of the Faculty members are well qualified and most of them are graduated and post-graduated from top universities, such as JNU, Presidency College, Loyola College & Delhi University. Even most of them are North campus graduates. So, yes they've more than enough experience of overall DU, regarding its syllabus, culture, and everything. Even, The SBSC has the 2nd largest commerce faculty overall Delhi University. The ratio of teachers to students is generally low. Yes, just because of a large faculty, if any course has more than enough students, then the college breaks them into sections just like a school culture. Most of the faculty members are quite smart regarding teaching. They generally try to teach the students in every possible way, so that students can be able to understand properly the things and data and all things. some faculty teachers are quite good. We can approach them regarding our syllabus, further career, and even personal life.
