Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The course of BA program is not quite amazing and good. But yes we can say that This college can provide you with the best regarding the BA program in the overall South campus. There are certain types of combinations in which you can secure your admission.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is quite amazing, even I was shocked when I saw the fee structure first time. The fee is very very affordable. Generally, you've to pay approx. 40 to 50k for your overall college life. Even, in this also, colleges provide scholarships for some students Regarding the scholarship criteria, you can visit the college website.

Campus Life

3

Yes, if we talk about overall experience then yes, it was amazing for sure. But, yes we had not too big a campus and had no hostel facility in the college itself. So, yes it couldn't be like the B.Tech colleges. And MBBS colleges. The infrastructure is also quite good and well-maintained.

Admission

I had secured my admission through the cut-off-based system. I've got it Ba program at 96% in the second cut-off, in the general category But, now the CUET score is mainly considered regarding the admission process...

Faculty

4.5

Most of the Faculty members are well qualified and most of them are graduated and post-graduated from top universities, such as JNU, Presidency College, Loyola College & Delhi University. Even most of them are North campus graduates. So, yes they've more than enough experience of overall DU, regarding its syllabus, culture, and everything. Even, The SBSC has the 2nd largest commerce faculty overall Delhi University. The ratio of teachers to students is generally low. Yes, just because of a large faculty, if any course has more than enough students, then the college breaks them into sections just like a school culture. Most of the faculty members are quite smart regarding teaching. They generally try to teach the students in every possible way, so that students can be able to understand properly the things and data and all things. some faculty teachers are quite good. We can approach them regarding our syllabus, further career, and even personal life.

Area that should be improved that is treat every student similarly without any discrimination. Faculty don't even tdke action on sol, IGNOU and NCWEB students. So I think it should be improved firstly.

The curriculum is very broad and relevant, it covers both theory and practical aspects of the subject. It is very nice to prepare for further higher studies, though more real-world cast studies and interactive teaching.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is relevant to the current aspects of real world. It is also very focused on the practical component of the subject and helps us know how to apply our theoretical concepts in real life. Aspects that influenced me were: the practicality, the relatibiltiy of concepts and the testing approaches as well.

Placement Experience:

Since i am 2nd year myself, hearing from seniors, seeing placement cell activities and reading reports, placement at ipcw are decent but far from perfect. The placement drive is not as huge or reliable as some commerce Acc. to the nirf report, for ug courses out of 1204 eligible students 118 got placed, which is roughly 9-10, for pg course, out of 100 eligible students only 6 got placed. Median package for UG was 6.20 lakhs per annum, and for pg is 6.7 lakhs per annum. In earlier years (2022-23) , median UG package was higher. The highest package went to 23 lakhs per annum which was quite impressive. It was from DE Show and co., Wipro, Capgeminie etc. there are regular recruiters like DE. Shaw abd co.,Wipro, Capegemini, Godrej properties, Sirion Labs etc. What i feel personaly as an eco hons. student unless i build extra i cant really expect placement. Masters and competetive exams are next option
