Likes

For biotechnology BMSCE is the best choice as it has a placement record of 80%.
Infrastructure is mind-blowing as all the classrooms and libraries are air-conditioned and even the sports building is airconditioned.
The college is full of fests as it has fests every month.

Dislikes

No dress code but students can't wear anything as there's a policy under which we have to wear in a certain way.

Course Curriculum Overview

Biotechnology is nothing but it deals with applied biology and chemical engineering. So our course may not be that popular but it has been designed or should I say enginnered in a way that it gives us a complete know-how of our subjects.

Placement Experience

From Laxmi organic to Kanoria Chemicals we have many pharma companies too that comes for placements. Percentage wise we are the second most placed branch of our college. Placement package wise we do lag behind a bit but once our market grows we will also bag same kind of packages.

Fees and Financial Aid

My fees is just 2 and a half lakhs a year as I came through KCET. The toppers fees is even less as they just have to pay 1 lakhs a year. So scholarships for all the merit students and also to students of backward class and EWS families.

Campus Life

Tech fest is Phase Shift and cultural fest is Utsav. Besides that we have all the festivals celebrated at our campus. We have the most sought after infrastructure and other colleges envy our infrastructure. Well maintained and sell balanced in terms of academic space and space for sporting and cultural activities.

Admission

The application forms of CET are available online and you have to fill your choices. As many as 6 doubts happens before all the admissions are confirmed. The process is lengthy but because number of students applying is so high that it takes 6 or sometimes even 7 rounds to complete the admissions.

Faculty

If not all maximum facilities here are quite chilled out. They are also quite lineinet when it comes to giving marks and hence they are my favourite. Interaction is possible as they are more of friends than teachers.

i would rate 3/5 because we want more systems to do our work as well as labs too,the main thing is we dont have that faculty compare to other department their are only 4 faculty,so they can't even able to take extra class for us ,so this is the main problem in our deparment

Good for you if you want a degree and want self learn

Course Curriculum Overview:

There are no such specific of the curriculum that influenceed me to take these course instead i was interested or kneen to this course., since my childhood I wanted do this course. It's good in terms of virtual world but not for real world. Everywhere there's a need of improvement no practical knowledge is present here no one talks about new ideas not even they think about even some of them came because it costed them low. No such specific difficulty.

The students from the last year that is seventh semester are allowed to attend the placement given on campus. There are not so many campus placement available. Many companies such as tcs, wipro and other companies basically giving less salary compared to other colleges. There are many few students who got placed in the companies through campus placement hence it cannot be trusted completely. My plans after getting a degree is to get a job or even higher studies of possible. The average students getting placed are very low.

Overall summary of my college in Bengaluru.

I gave first preference to RVCE, but as my rank was less compared to cut off, I was unable to get a seat in the college and I ended up getting the seat in BMSCE which was my 2nd preference.
