Likes

The faculty in this college is very good and very helpful.
The campus is very beautiful, there is also a shrine where the temple, mosque and church are together.This college also has swimming pool and gym.
Hotel facilities are available, hostel rooms are very good.

Dislikes

In this college, the management may have problems with money in the meantime.
Hostel food is not very good, fee is a bit high.
You have to work hard to get placements, companies rarely come for placements.

In odd semester more time is available but in even semester there is very less time. The syllabus from the college is completed very quickly in even semesters. If a student hears a good reading from the first time, he will come

If a student studies from the beginning then he will get placement. To be eligible for the company's placement in the college, he must study well. No backlog allow. 88% got placement in 2023. If you study from the beginning you will get placement of good package.

Fees and Financial Aid

Tuition fee 4lakh84thousand. There is no late fine if the tuition fee is late. Hostel fee is a bit high. 3bed common bathroom 31500. 6 Bed Common Bathroom 28300. This college has Student Credit Card and DRCC facility. SVMCM , St SC scholarship Available. Intership Available After 2nd Year.

Campus Life

College is very beautiful, there are many extra activities, tech fest is held in college. You can enjoy college life very much. Sports facilities are very good. Cultural program is very good. There is the Rainbow Club.

Admission

Eligibility- Indian, admission through Wbjee or Jee mains and Direct also. No reservations benefit available. After Wbjee You can join BBIT through Wbjee Counselling. If you're outside of West Bengal you can join BBIT jee mains though. If you don't have any rank card then visit BBIT for direct addmission.

Faculty

The faculty of this college is very good, they treat the students like friends, they help in all academic problems. Help students in practical lab.Each student is given a mentor, the mentor helps the student with all his problems. Principal sir is very good. Sir teaching style is very good, faculty are phd, iit passout.

Placement Experience:

At JGEC,campus placements begin mostly from the 6th/final year semester,when students become eligible .I recent years many well-known companies have visited such as Pinnacle Infotech,Synnova Gears & Transmissions Pvt.Ltd,,TCS,Jyesta corporate Entity and many more.The highest package was around 54 LPA form Google ,While the overall average is 10.2LPA.Many students also take internships, industrial training or prepare for higher studies(GATE) rather than accepting direct placement immediately.The exact percentage of student getting palcement is no where.But last year the percentage placed is 70%.

Overall the placement percentage of the college is good for both the core and non-core courses almost near 90%. All the students in there 3rd year i.e. in their 5th or 6th semester are elegible for campus placements. So first talk about the admission procedure : there are two ways to get into this college for btech admission is by JEE and WBJEE entrance exam. Ok taking account of these exam ranks you can take admission into this college and the average rank for CSE branch by WBJEE is under 20-25k.
