- The infrastructure of college is very brilliant. It has lot of facilities and is very helpful.
- Each Student is assigned a mentor which help them and guide them throughout the session.
- College also has great faculty. All teachers are very hard working and give their 100% to teach the class.
Dislikes
- The curriculum is very bad, we have to study subjects which have no relevance to our core subjects and is a burden to us.
- Syllabus is increased, no. Of hours is decreased which causes a very big problem to us. Syllabus doesn't finish on time
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is very ok. Basically ,When I was searching for the college after 12 one senior has refered me that you can take admission in this college in Btech Cse, As there is good faculty of cse in the college as well the infra was so good.
Fees and Financial Aid
Delhi University is a government institutions Some North campus college have maximum fees upto 25000 but all other have less than 20000. Despite such less fee, many scholarships are available which the student can avail on the basis of their marks scored. All kind of assistance regarding fee is given to student and their will be no problem regarding finances. Since, I am from hansraj college, it has good campus placement.
Campus Life
Lot of society fest and farewells are organised by the college. Overall experience of campus was very great I loved it. The infrastructure of Hansraj College is best out of all others college nearby of it. Their are various society in hansraj which a student can join. Lot of technological provision are provided by hansraj in library, in classroom or any other place. Each class has a working projector. A punching system is installed in library, a detector is also their In case any student take book without issuing it. So it use a lot of technology. In terms of sports and Extracurricular activities college is very excellent. Students portals are also made by the college where their attendance and all the report of student is saved.
Admission
For admission to Delhi University you have to give CUET entrance test. Then DU releases a portal, then you have to login to it and wait for results. Therefore, the admission procedure is very simple. DU releases a brochure which mention about the eligibility criteria for all the courses. Application dates, fees and form all are informed by DU on the portal itself. Since it's a government institution their are lot of reservation and information about it is mentioned in its brochure.
Faculty
Teachers have a very polite behavior towards students. In terms of mentorship they are very brilliant. When it comes to teaching each teacher give their best but sometimes they are not able to convey us better. They are knowledgeable but some lacks the teaching skills and eventually we have to do things on our own. But nature wise they are very nice and kind hearted.
