Course Curriculum Overview

Bsc Life sciences is the course which includes chemistry, botany and zoology . This course help me to explore my potential in all field. I get many opportunities to do research internship in chemistry/ botany/ zoology department. My college gives better option for life science to explore your potential in any field .

Internships Opportunities

I have done with 2 internship . One Was research internship on topic E waste management and the other was HR department. There is a placement cell internship group and only 3rd year students are allowed to join that and they get opportunities to do internship. Else if you are in 1st/ 2nd year then you will get research internship opportunities during your summer vacation.

Fees and Financial Aid

There is a semester fee along with tuition fee. Tuition fee you have to pay it once a year approximately 14k while semester fee is around 1.2k . In total the whole course fee is around 45k . I don't know about the scholarship.

Campus Life

Campus life is awesome. After all is delhi University, you will definitely get many opportunities to explore your ability , challenge your limitations. There are many clubs and society where you can join them and make friends from different departments and do extra-curricular activities. I personally enjoyed my campus life and I really miss those days .

Admission

In 2021 there were no entrance exam to get admission in DU . But I have asked many junior about their cuet score which was around 550-600. Once you get selected in Cllg then they asked you to bring all the necessary documents for verification and later on Student Id card will be issue.

Faculty

Faculty members are very supportive. They are just with you . Connect with them , they will help you out from all of your hurdles . I personally known them all and had a wonderful experience. They supported us in every aspect.

My course is very nice and mostly acceptable in big multinational companies and firms. The whole world is moving towards AI and computers. So jobs in this field are high. And I also had a good interest in computers. That's why I chose this course.

Placement is not that great as I hear it's around 400000 to 500000 annum after 3 years of graduation companies like wipro TCL etc. highest package as I know is 22lpa in 2023 75% students places I will pursue further studies after graduation

College life in Acharya Narendra Dev College (ANDC), DU

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course Biomedical Sciences is very interesting as well as challenging, it covers various fields of sciences and has great scope in terms of research. The course connects theory with real world applications in hospitals and research laboratories. A few examples would include, antibacterial testing, PFT, EMG, blood tests, which are commonly performed in hospitals. The course also helps us to pursue our hands in research further by providing us with hands on training for skills such as biostatistics, writing scientific literature, lab skills, etc. A few improvements that I would suggest is the removal of outdated testing methods and practicals from the curriculum that are not essential for the real world currently. The teaching methods are quite good and interesting. The exams are conducted at the end of each semester and are relevant to the curriculum. The practical exams test your knowledge of hands on experience that you've gained while doing lab work. Theory exams are of 3 hours as per usual and test your theoretical knowledge from books and classes mainly.

My tale of andc

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have pcm in 12 th and in also subjects i am best in chemistry so that's why I choosed it . And andc is mostly a science course college it has mostly science courses only . It has good labs facility most necessary for my course. We have exams per semester only which are average not much hard or easy .

from probably the 3rd year students are eligible for campus recruitments, infotech i think came to our college as far as my knowledge goes, the avg package that im aware of is 3-4.5LPA, which is decent in terms of placement after bachelors, my plans although are to pursue higher education since the package mentioned is not good in my eyes

I have applied for I have applied for few of the north campus colleges and few other colleges from the South campus. I got confirmed admission form DCAC.
