An all and out for Nituk

The curriculum of all the events and holidays are pre decided in a detailed analysis in our institute academic calendar. 2 Mid term Exams are conducted in a gap of 1 month and then a final end term.(Lab exams are also included). Overall the teaching methods and quality is good.

Internship opportunities are offered by our institute however we enroll in other colleges for internship and trainings. But it might not be as useful as doing some internship training in top colleges .

Placement offers solely in-campus placements are highly rewarding and they recruit employees based on Resume, an aptitude test and an interview. Mostly TCS like companies appear for placement out of which 25% students are placed on-campus.

The fees for an individual in one year is approx. 1.5 lakh however there are many financial assistance provided like scholarships mostly from NSP and fee waivers which makes the task easy and so the complete average fees of an individual is about 80,000 per year.

Recently a techfest was organised in our college which has invited various other colleges for this great connection. There are many different kinds of books available in the library and easy to accessible. Some sports are focused more over others at the campus.

Hostels are good especially the newly mado ones however there is a lack of space but it is okay. Meal quality is always too bad even after regular complaints unless it is a special day. Some students also prefer locality rented rooms which is no far from the college.

12th pass student has to appear Jee exam which is conducted tiwce a year and clear the cutoff for jee advanced if he want to take seat in IITs or otherwise you can enroll for NITs and IITs via Josaa councelling and there are many reservation benefits offered if it applies to you. If you want to enroll seat in these premier colleges then you have to start working hard from 11th onwards and solve as many questions as possible.

As I am from Electronics branch so based on that I'll consider my branch faculty members which I assume great as the faculty to student ratio for our branch is 1:4 which provides an easy go through with any questions and contact. All the faculty members are PhD scholar from good IITs and NITs and there are also associate teachers which help the students with more ease. Some teachers have also provided their personal contact number for if we need any advice regarding anything in future, we can directly contact them.
