Course Curriculum Overview
I guess the course and the curriculum they carry is generally the old one which is being in study from quiet many years due to which you can find some content outdated but mostly the curriculum is to keep in the track with present time. Generally their not such to be changed everything is fine till some extent.
Internships Opportunities
There are great internships opportunity available outside the campus as well as within the campus,any company provides internship before seventh semester during summer break with many companies from MNC to Indian companies as well. As I am from second year I don't know much from my own experience but what I hear from seniors is the one who get internship from college placement cell receive good stipend which can go as high as 10-20 lack per month to as low as 20k a month
Placement Experience
Students become eligible for placement after sixth semester. All the top companies from Google to Mera to Amazon to Indian companies like TCS,Wipro Mahindra most of the tech companies come for in campus placement. For the year 22-23 average package was around 20 lpa and highest was around 4cr/annum Around 80% of students get placed.
Fees and Financial Aid
Starting from the fee structure the basic fee structure is that you have to pay 1 lakh rupees as your tution fee with some 5-10k for your other fees and if you opt for hostel you have to additionally pay 15000 for seat rent and arround 38-40k for mess charges per semester, which if you sum up for 8 semester or your btech degree it would be around 13 lakh. At the same time if your from some category then they would cost you less with respect to your financial condition and your category. Also their are lot of scholarship for the students and it is easy to get
Campus Life
There are lots of fest conducted throughout the year from cultural fest rendezvous to tech fest tryst to entrepreneurship fest becon. Rendezvous held in October while tryst in late March with becon to held around late January. The IIT Delhi library is one of the biggest library in college with book volume of around 2 lakh book present book in physics and online form. The classes have proper project facilities with professor having mic and speaker facility. A wide range of sports are provided within the campus with decent facility
Hostel Facilities
The room in hostel have all the basic facilities like full cupboard with section, show racks,ethernet port, fans and tubelight. You can also bought anything if you required. The meal is served three times a day - breakfast, lunch, dinner with wide variety of food which I would say decent and proper facility.
Admission
For you to get admission in ITT DELHI firstly you have clear jee mains then after clear jee advance with decent rank to get eligible for admission,course you are eligible completely dependent upon your jee advance rank. Once you cleared jee advance then you have apply for jossa counciling where you have to fill all the college you would like to join in your preferred order then according to all the students who has registered in counciling respective of rank will get courses and college.
Faculty
The faculty of the college is highly qualified from having PhD from the top universities around the world with not only having the theoretical knowledge but pratical knowledge also. College also have decent student to professor ratio. Its very easy to find professor to have small interaction regularly if you show interest in their field. Also reffering to the cons that professor sometimes can be rude to you(depending on their nature) but generally professor are very Frank and friendly
