Good college for Engineering

Course curriculum is a bit more inclined towards theory rather than focusing more on practical knowledge. Otherwise it is good and manageable. Exams are conducted almost every month as series exam, class test, internals, semester etc.

For internships we have to go ourselves. We have to approach and get opportunities by ourselves. Although the teachers always help us by recommending some of them but there is no as such companies coming for interships.

Placements in the college are not that great. Th3 average package offered goes around 4-5 lpa and highest is 15lpa. From 6th semester we can sit for placements. Almost all students who sit for placements get placed.

Tuition fees is very low in the college as compared to other private engineering colleges. It Is the hostel fees that takes it to around 300000. The mess food is also not that great. Scholarships are there. The most common one is e-grantz.

There are many events conducted across the year in the college. Many opportunities are there for the students to showcase themselves. Hestia is the cultural fest. Central is there which is accesible to all.

Hostel facilities are good enough for staying. The maintenance is good and the facilities are also no that bad. Mess food is sometimes not likable to eat. Although it is acceptable. But the hostel fees are too high compared to other colleges.

The entrance exam for the colleges coming under ktu university is KEAM. Cut off mark depends on the college in which you want to go. For the top colleges like CET, TKMCE, GECT etc. The cut offs are high followed by others.

The faculties in the college are great and very helpful. Our class has around 65 students and it is manageable. All are well qualified and the teaching qualitt is also good. They are very approachable and helpful for that matter.
