Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course is designed pretty well structured and the semester system allows syllabus to divide which is easy for us to interpret. The practical apparatus can be improved but the thing about exams is they are very hectic and long. It take 1.5 months for University to take our practical as well as exams

Placement Experience

4

There is a campus placement thing in this college but mostly students go for higher education. The project and internships come frequently after 1st year completion and the fellowship after the course is a good B plan.

Fees and Financial Aid

The tution fee is very affordable for middle class and the cost of education can come along 30k per year maximum including projects and presentation or assignments charges. The fees concession is given by college who are not able to afford education..it's about 10-15k per year. There is no campus employment thing here!

Campus Life

4

My college have its annual fest named KARVAAN and technical fest is organised by individual departments. The Library is well managed here and mostly all the books are available for course. The facilities are nice in college but the major thing lacks is lift doesn't work. The sports fest is also organised very nicely named SPARDHA. Many societies are active in campus. I joined NSS and Enactus.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

The hostel facility is very good here and the quality of meal is A class. Menu is customisable by students majority and the registration for hostel is also very easy( fill form from official site of the college) the hostel is affordable as compared to flats or PGs nearby.

Admission

The eligibility requirements for Biochemistry is PCB and I took cuet for it . I had to score very nice marks to get admission in this course. Reservation is available in college for EWS and SC/ST. The admission process was smooth and there is no need of improvement in it.

Faculty

4.5

The faculty to student ratio is 1:20 and that's quite effective for us. Mostly guest faculties are there but they too have helping nature with us. The credentials are good in terms and the approacability of faculties is awesome.

I will rate 10 out of 7 to this course curriculum because in this course the experiment and lab works is too low as compare to another courses like biomedical science, bsc zoology and many more. But it's ok I'm happy with this course.

Students become eligible for placements on the 3rd year, we have decent placement opportunities but not the best, highest package is around 15 lakhs. Companies that visit are Bain and Co., Urban Clap etc. average package is around 5 lakhs. My plans after getting the degree are getting into a master's programme and pursuing research.
