Life at RVCE

The curriculum is strictly based on the new trends and demands of the industries. They do teach us to face real world encounters with unique problems. 3 internal examination are conducted in each sem in which best of 2 are counted.

Students have to get involved and make Experiential Learning projects each semester, which directly or indirectly helps students to get into internship programs. Also, college helps students to get good intership opportunities.

RVCE is among one of the top 5 private engineering colleges in India and guess what it is due to the placement opportunities. This year the highest package from our college is 1 crore and it is domestic. Also our college has collaborated with many of the foreign universities.

As of now, the course fee for this year is 2,64,000 per year. Also, we have to pay around 30000 per year for skills labs and all. Scholarships are available for only home state quota students. Outsiders are not allowed fir scholarships.

Now comes the campus life, the only disappointment aspect of RVCE. No regular fests, no prom nights, no salsa nights, no speed dating, nothing. Only academics and academics. Fest happens only after 2 years.

When I took admission, it was so hectic. First of all, I had to wait for around 3 months for counseling. Except this, everything was so smooth in getting admitted. Staffs at here helped a lot in the admission process.

The faculty to student ratio varies from branch to brach, as of now, in my branch the ratio is 6:1. The faculties are highly dedicated towards teaching. They often tell us to interact whenever we face any difficulties.
