Course Curriculum Overview

4

Main aspects that attracts me to choose this course was different learning methods that's include Individual Conferences, Group conferences etc. This course also offers field work practice which helps the students to apply theoretical knowledge in field prior to their starting of career

Internships Opportunities

4.5

In my course there is different internships offered by many big institutions like SARD ( Society for all round development), RCI ( Railway children India), BUDS ( Bal Umang Drishya Sanstha) as a social worker These intership helps the students to have a prior experience in field of work

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions

My fees for Social work course was around 6500 annual overall including all the services provided by college There is many grants and scholarships offered by college on the basis of students merits etc.

Campus Life

3

There is annual fest that helps around the months of February - April The Library had most of the books related to courses and there are also books for different course as well, there is also books for preparation for different government exams like UPSC, SSC CGL etc. There is NCC or NSS camp in college

Admission

Course is eligible for any student from any stream in 12th standard minimum 55% Nowadays application form get from cuet exam and application fees is around 700 or 1000 based on categories There are many benefits for reserved categories like SC, ST, OBC in admission, fee structure and examination fees as well

Faculty

5

There is 5 students to one faculty ratio, and it helps as a student to interact with their respective supervisors Most of faculty had their doctorates and every teacher has their own way of teaching which is preferable by students to learn new things in different manners Faculty is always available for students in any condition and they are very much approachable through one on one interaction or through telephonic follow ups, they also tries to respond as much as they can

Placement Experience:

Sri Venkateswara College provides placements for Science and Commerce Students, not for BA Students. The college has a good record in the placement cell. I am an Arts student so I don't have any placement. So I choose UPSC as my career option. I will try until I succeed.

Placement cells do not provide placements to English graduates. Only a few companies came to hire English graduates. I'm planning to do a master's or B.Ed to secure a career in teaching after my graduation.
