Yeah it's a course where you have to do both study and training . So time will fly very fast here. Before every semester there will be a two class tests whose marks are going to be add with the final mark.

Many reputated companies come here for recruitment like Mol, Chevron, Msc, Synergy, BSM, Wallem, Carnival, BW shipping, TORM, V-ships, Wihelmsen ship management, Fleet management and many more companies. For internship some companies will give the opportunity to complete it onboard vessel..but maximum company will tell to complete intership in PVD ( a ship inside the campus).

Placement scenario is very good in TMI. Many good companies come here for recruitment. All you need is to keep all clear in every semester. Then you'll be able to sit in the company interview and get placement as soon.

The fees for Nautical science is around 15-18 lakhs. For engineering it is 24-25 lakhs and for DNS course it is around 6-8 lakhs. There are some scholarships available in the college. The top 40 cadets of every semester will get a scholarship depending upon their merit

Campus Life will be full of fun here. As a training institute you will learn so many new things and can develop your skills. A vast opportunity for sports like cricket football volleyball basketball squash badminton swimming...and many more sports options. A inter house tournament will be organised every year where you can show your talent in sports. Also many other programs also held to show your extra curricular activities.

Hostes are very comfortable to stay. Rooms are sufficient for two cadets. Bathrooms are cleaned. For network LAN is available but ofcourse for some specific time everyday. The quality of mess food is good..but the problem is after some time it will get boaring. Everyday 4 meals are given- Breakfast, Lunch, Snacks, Dinner.

Qualifying in IMUCET and TMISAT is mandatory for admission. Candidates must have successfully completed the Senior Secondary Examination (10+2) or its equivalent with at least 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) and at least 50% marks in English either in Class X or Class XII. According to the result in TMI SAT candidate will be called for an online interview and psychometric test. If they qualify in both they will have to show themselves fit by a DG approved doctor. Then documentation and fees payment process. Note- Passport is compulsory to get chance in merchant Navy. In TMISAT a safe score for ME is 50-60 & for NS 60-70

Faculties are very knowledgeable and also approchable. If you go to them with any doubt they will try to clear your doubts. They are very regular to the class....they conduct every lecture and try to prepare us in the classroom only. Some faculties will provide notes for better studying purpose.
