- Compact college as sometimes th college has to organise their events outdoors because don't have enough open space
Course Curriculum Overview
Course don't teach us everything as new add ons keeps on happening. The material that we take forms seniors sometimes becomes useless and rather they come to us for help. Ours is only course where juniors, seniors, and faculties have to go hand in hand otherwise in 40 odd lectures per semester our course for a semester will never get done.
Placement Experience
The college students get to sit for placements from 5th semester but some students are hired through their internships before they enter 3rd year. From Microsoft to Adobe, we have global giants come for recruitment.
Fees and Financial Aid
Well, toppers of KCET like me gets 50% scholarships. Apart from that I have also availed SC scholarship so in all the fees which is around 3 lakhs a year has come down to less than a lakh for me. Just like this there are scholarships for students coming through merit or through reservation benefits. Students under EWS has to pay as less as just 10% of the fees. So fees may like high but students who are deserving gets enough backing through college scholarships programmes.
Campus Life
The signature or the one through which all colleges knows about BMSCE is it's fest UTSAV. One has to say that is like one of the most happening event of the town. Out college is located at an area where you will find enough eateries right outside the campus. The college is cramped for space and therefore not much facilities apart from a well equipped library.
Admission
KCET, Comed-K or JEE, these three entrance scores are accepted. However, there's a smaller portions for management quota as well. I came under SC reservation and was also ranked among top KCET students. College application forms can be downloaded through the college website and one can submit them at college admin office or if they wish they can do it online as well
Faculty
Students are plenty and so are faculties in abundance. For every single department there are two supporting faculties along with the regular ones. Besides that guest faculties are invited often to teach us if any new things happen in the field of AI. Our faculties lives in the world of science and they eat, sleep, and repeat engineering as it seems like not just in their blood but engineering is in their veins too.
