- The gigantic beautiful campus fully covered with greenary. The basic infrastructure like the library is also very good in the university premises.
Dislikes
- Delayed exam is something normal in this university which is a problematic things. Cause it can delayed the course completion.
- The publication of the results which is also a uncertain things.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum is also very good and also interchanging. The students can learn from the basic level to the very advance level. The more the semester passed the more a students can get to learn about the subjects.
Internships Opportunities :
There are good internship opportunity. The Hod's from the respective departments arranged internships for their students. Many students went to kolkata for internship. A student can get a internship certificate easily while completing his course in the university.
Placement Experience :
The campus placement is not very good. The big companies like TCS, Mahindra Tech comes for the placement. They provide an avarage of 3 lakh lpa. Media companies like the abp group also visits for the placements but they prefers students from the Mass communication students.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
As this is a govt. Sponsored institution the thus the fee is very minimal. Beside there is scholarship for the toppers and there is another scholarship provided by the west bengal government but for that you have to maintain 55 percent in your semester results.so one should not have economical problems while studying in this university.
Campus Life :
The various festivals or events adds life to the campus. Many festivals have been celebrated in the campus. The most attractive is the annual function which happens around june to july. The library is the temple of the university. The library size and book availability is enough to fulfill anyone's need both teacher and students. There are many social group and there are good opportunity in sports activity. The sports team represent university in national levels.
Admission :
After bachelor degree anyone can apply in the university. The registration begins in August and ends in around September. One must have 50 percent to apply but to get a Chance in a course one should have 65 person in avarage. There are reservation benefits which is a good thing for the rrserved students.
Faculty :
The faculty members are highly skilled. Some of them represent their subjects in the international level. Some of them have their own published book and journals which is in curriculum in other university. Their teaching method is also very unique and is more than sufficient to satisfy any students need.
