I am enrolled in biotechnology, so the placements are quite good, since most students choose to pursue higher education. There are classes and labs in the department itself from fourth semester. In labs, students are given a chance to learn more about their courses, and tests are held twice a semester, which is quite good.

Although internship opportunities have decreased due to the ongoing recession, students with good skills will still be able to get good internships, and many of them will be able to turn the internship offer into a job offer.

In the recent few months we have seen good placements, the average is around 10-12 lakhs and most students are still getting placed at the moment. Students are eligible for placement from the 7th semester onwards. The highest package so far has been 72 lakhs. Placements are still ongoing.

In addition to tuition fees of 62500 per semester, the college offers financial assistance, including waivers of tuition fees for students with an income below one lakh. Additionally, students from SCs and STs pay no tuition, which makes education more accessible to them.

Each year, there are 2 major festivals, utkansh, the main festival, which takes place in March, and tech niti, the tech festival, held in september. There are also several clubs, such as baware, which is known for its theatre performances.

I am residing in the campus hostels and they are very good, but you will have to share your room in first year and the food in the mess is great, as the students decide what to cook and what the menu is for each month.

I would say the admission process was okay. We got our seats in Josea Counciling and then the college admission process is relatively straightforward. All we need to do is submit our documents as instructed by the college in the allotted timeframe.
