Likes

The environment and infrastructure of the college is very good.
All the professors are highly qualified and know how to teach students in good way
We have a cheap store in our college where we can buy books at very low prices.

Dislikes

There are not so much extracurricular activities.
The attendance management is very poor, every time before semester there comes certain problems.
College cantine food quality is very good but the space is very small. Like 10/10 room for all college.

Course Curriculum Overview

I have chosen this course because I have already studied commerce in 10+2. I always liked the subject that's why I chosen the course. According to me no changes required in their teaching methods. Their style is quite simple and easy to understand. The exam difficulty is very hard. I think which is quite good for the students. Because of these all the students takes this seriously which improves their results.

Internships Opportunities

I have not yet completed my course that's why I don't know properly but whatever I listend from the seniors and website. College provides decent intership opportunities. And after this the placement is in TCS, Flipkart, godrej ect.

Fees and Financial Aid

According to me fees are little bit expensive than other similar colleges. The total cost in the college in full 3 years is around 30000. Where as in other colleges it's arround 20000. But the good thing is the scholarship facility is very strong. If your marks ar eligible than they complete every work very fast. You can easily get the scholarship.

Campus Life

This one thing is not good in our college. There is not so much extracurricular activities in our college. No playground to do extracurricular activities. And also not technological provision within the classroom. It is same old style.

Admission

The eligibility is based on your 12th board result. Minimum requirements is around 92%. If you have any reservation like I have(SC) than the cutoff is little bit low around 88%. Application forms are available every year in college portal. The process is very simple you just have to fill your details carefully. No application fees is required.

Faculty

3.5

The ratio is quite balanced but recently some of the professors retired so there are currently some problems but the college managed so well. The teaching style of every professor is very fine. After being many students from many states they define everything in their possible languages. We can easily interact after the classes with them if there is any confusion.

Placement Experience:

Idk but i guess students become eligible from 2nd or 3rd sem. Idk what is the company visited but the placements are very good i heard that, avg package varies 2.4 lpa I guess. Right now i am doing internship so as of now i don't have plans.

Most of the students also get placement opportunities whether large or small package The opportunity is given to all degree whether it be bcom or bcom hons . Any student who does not get placed can easily use the degree to get a high paying off campus placements and to go to any good college or stay in this college for their post graduation.

Quite an Average Government College which lacks in infrastructure, faculty, and placements.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As I mentioned, the course curriculum is outdated and no new industry knowledge is being taught. Projects and assignments are also bookish and are just for sake. Teaching methods by teachers are also bookish and backward. The frequency of exams are after every 6 months and are pretty manageable and easy.

SAJC - From The Eye of a Student.

There was only 3 better colleges I couldn't apply to. They were St.Xaviers Kolkata, Goenka and Maulana Azad. Seth Anandram Jaipuria College is among the top 5 colleges and is well known. It is also the best college in North Kolkata, some might not agree to me though. The deciding factors for me were very low fees, decent quality teachers, and the most important, quality of crowd and reputation of the college.
