Course Curriculum Overview
I am à student of BA History Hons. The syllabus of this course deals with the History of India, USA,USSR ,Japan, China ,Europe including Social formations and cultural patterns in the ancient world. The exams take place semester wise which means 2 exams per year and the duration of the course is 4 years
Internships Opportunities
There are many companies that reach out to our college for providing internship to us . These internships help us gather various skills required for futher job along with good stipends (10,000+) . These internships have helped many students in boosting their Resumes and CVs for taking further jobs with specific skills.
Placement Experience
The college has its own Placement cell which is very active and gives opportunity to get placed in good companies . Other than this they also provide opportunities of internship with good stipends. I have planned to take further the academics.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee for the 1st year was about 13010 and it feasibly increases every year , like for the 2nd year it was 14000 (this is the complete fee for a year). The best thing is they provide scholarships for every 2 meritorious students of every course every year along with many memorial prizes. The college also provides financial easing to students from low wage earning families by deducting the amount of fees accordingly.
Campus Life
The campus life is awesome as the people here are great. The college also organises its 2 days long Annual Fest - TIDE. The college has a book bank and a very enriched library for access of books. The college has a very large ground with different spots for different games like basket ball , cricket, badminton, Volleyball etc. There are almost 20 societies including cultural societies which are very good and active. There is also a student led Society for Social service called SFS (Students for Service).
Admission
You must have complete your 12th exams from any recognised board. For getting in to this college it is mandatory to appear for CUET exam held every year. The cut off changes every year like my score was somewhere 740+ out of 800 but there are students with less scores and of course you can avail the benefits of reservation.
Faculty
The faculty members are the best thing about my college . They are very approachable and the faculty-to-student ratio is also perfect. They give their best in teaching us . They daily interact with us by cross questioning to confirm we have learnt the things being taught.
