Likes

The teaching faculty present here are very nice. The don't just give you study's knowledge but they also tell us about social awareness.
The college is always try to improve itself just by making small changes .
Principal is so kind as he give priority to students before the faculty, ragging is not allowed here.

Dislikes

Campus is very small, just of 10- 15 acres., But that much is also peaceful.
Bouncers don't allow students to gather together as they think this can cause fight's between us.
Ground is not always available to play as that ground comes under school also so when school gets over then only we can play on ground.

Course Curriculum Overview

As I had already decided for applying for defence so don't want to do coding related jobs . So I decided for core branch . that's why I choose electrical engineering. As electrical engineering is one of the toughest branch from engineering and this college is most famous for electrical branch. In single year 2 sems , each sem has insem of 30 marks and end sem of 70 marks . The student needs to score 40+ marks to qualify subject

I am not too much of sure of placement but I had recently heard that our 9 seniors from electrical branch had placed in tata motors at 7lks per annum as the had made fastest elctric car in Maharstra.here no intership is given by college so you have to take it from outside only. After degree I am going to prepare for CDS so now I am not thinking too much about the placement.

Fees and Financial Aid

The college fees is 105000, from which I had payed just 17000 and exam fees as I had get Maharashtra government scholarship. Similarly almost 90%of student are here by applying scholarship. Your college expenses can be around 1000rupees per month.

Campus Life

Don't worry about enjoyment, here too much of clubs are present for you . each department has its own 2-3 clubs for different enovations and all. There is free library for 1st year student also we had e- library also so you can acces the research paper and journals in audiobook also. Each year days are also there like sports and other

Admission

Elegibility for course is by considering your JEE or MHT-CET score .here electrical branch is available at 70%tile while C.S branch ta 98%tile .I had scored 86 percentile in mht-cet so I had get admission through considering score of MHT-CET. This exam once in year after 12th or during 12th you can apply to it.

The syllabus is followed of sppu. Every subject has 1 faculty.so as 6 subject per sem so 6 different faculty for different subject. Also here maths faculty is very nice as they work continuously for students so there not single student in first year who has back in engineering mathematics -1.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. I chose this college because this college is very reputed in Pune for engineering specially electrical engineering. Admission process - You should apply through CAP process to get admission in this college. MHTCET + JEE, both scores can get you admitted in this college as there is also an all India quota. After the CAP processes are completed, you can also attend it's spot round as they are also conducted in a very systematic manner. Why this college over others? This is one of the top colleges In pune. This was the reason for me to choose this college. Comparing pvg with colleges like aissms, dy patil, modern, and many more pvg is far better in terms of placements. Didn't had the marks required to get to other colleges like vit viit pict coep pccoe etc so I choose pvg. I got a confirmed admission for keystone college but it is worse that pvg so I chose pvg. To get admission in pvg college you need to fill a form of cet. Mht cet is one of these examples. If you have passed 12th standard then apply for mht cet.
