Course Curriculum Overview
The courses are pretty comprehensive just that little bit old . Though the course is a fine piece put together by sppu and includes every bare minimum thing you will need for the respective engineering you are persuing
Internships Opportunities
Many companies come here for internship. Some DRDO facilities also give opportunities to students to work there . Mostly companies come for the IT roles but also some core companies visit who give intern roles .
Placement Experience
Placements are underwhelming in this college you get eligible for placement in and from the 7th semister i.e. final year. Many companies approach the college mainly IT only some companies visit for the core region. The average package here is 4L and highest is 15L
Fees and Financial Aid
I as a open male pay 1.05 lakhs fee which has been constant thru the years i am in this college. Yes there are scholarship availabilities for SC,ST,EWS students . The fee for sc/st is 1400 and ews get 50-60% discount.
Campus Life
The clubs and cultural events are a blast here. Students have a choice to choose from a spectrum of clubs from art circle to formula bharat . Events like tedxpvgcoet , gdsc take place and the college cultural events are also a sight to see. Talking about books and journal availability it is there as the library is huge. And sports events also take place.
Admission
I got admitted to this college through MHCET which had a cutoff of 92%le then so I had no choice but to take this college through the cap systems as in all 3 cap rounds I ended up in this college itself
Faculty
Faculty is very good over here they are phd scholars and experienced but some courses available by the university are not available in this college. Exams are according to the sppu (pune University) schedule i.e. insem and endsem exams . Insem are 30 marks and are marked by the college faculty and endsem papers are corrected by the university. They are moderately difficult
Night Life
Gym facility is available in the campus. Library in the campus closes between 7-8 pm. Hostel in timings are 9 pm for everyone. It is generally safe to roam around near the campus area and there are many cafes like neha cafe , locality cafe around the college. Some hangout spots include Taljai tekdi , camp burger, bagul udya. Etc
