What Students Say

Likes

The sports complex is the largest sports complex in northeast
Club activities are more then other colleges and depertment also allow
The campus is very big as compared to other colleges in tripura

Dislikes

The administration work is very bad they delay every work
For placements placement coordinator doesn't bother they personally don't contact with the company they say branch tnps to contact and they don't give training to them
In placements only to show 100%placements the placement cell doesn't allow students to give declaration to the company if they get better company and destroy others chances

Course curriculum is very good there are elective subjects are there which helps students to choose what they want and it's also has the facilities to take any subjects from NPTL and do it online also

Internships Opportunities

From my department we provide 100%internship in psus, private sector core even depertment allow us to do internship from 3nd year of our college life so that we get more aware of our branch works and varities of field present rather then curriculum

Placement Experience

Placement is very good every year there is 80%placement and those students don't get placements depertment help them to get entry in IITs for there further studies without giving any exams. And it's has also signed MOU with different IITS like IIT Madras, IIT Delhi etc

Fees and Financial Aid

If you are general and if your family annual income is more then 5 lacs then you have to pay the whole tuition fee that is 8 lac per year and they will also not get any scholarship....and below 5 lac then have to pay 26000-30000 per semester and below 1 lac they have to pay 4000-7000 per semester

Campus Life

There are technical fest and culture fest which held every year in the month of January and March respectively.... There are many cultural clubs, depertmental clubs, robotics club,NCC etc are there to join

Admission

It's was throw jee cut off general you need 80-76 percentile to get admission and for ews general if you have 76 percentile then you can get High core or circuital branches for SC -ST the percentile varies from 56-80 percentile

Faculty

The faculty members are qualified enough to teach us but in some subjects they lack and some teachers are there who teach more and pressure is more and they set questions in such a way that it's the question level of masters and it affects our CGPA.

All about NIT Agartala

Placement Experience:

As the NIRF ranking is going high year by year, companies are coming less and giving less preffer to NITA, Previous 2 years CSE, ME, CE students got 99% placement of avg. 8 LPA and one student got 1.2 cr off campus.

Eyeopener

Placement Experience:

From third year students are eligible for campus placement and internships. Many companies visit like Microsoft , CISCO , L&T , Mahindra etc . Highest package offered was 52lpa in tech and 20lpa in core and average package is 9lpa. Around 75% student get placed . My plan is to do M.tech by qualifying GATE exam .

Life in Nit Agartala

Placement Experience:

Placements are good enough if you if your skills are much better than others if your CG is at least above them 8.5 then you will definitely get a good package so many companies comes to our college including Microsoft Google Amazon etc.. highest package of last year is 68 lpa

NIT Agartala is one of the most prettiest colleges in India!!

Placement Experience:

From Gaya Steel, to JK Tyres and companies involved in production were the ones who gave us placements. On and average production engineers at our college were paid around 4-5 lakhs a year. The lowest of all but still in top corporate houses as no start-ups are into production. This established names where the one who gave us placements.

JOURNEY TO NIT AGARTALA

Placement Experience:

The market is down these days so placement is not very good but yeah i would say its average not that bad. In 7th semester students are eligible for campus placements and company starts visit to campus. Sicne the placement season just started so the process is going on but yeah deollite, oracle, sigmoid, globallogic and many more came and offer jobs. The highest package on campus is nearly about 23lpa which is offered by British Petroleum and average package may vary from 10lpa to 14 lpa. Almost 96% student got placed every year rest are seeking for higher studies and appear in Gate exams. I will take job and start my corporate journey.

Students become eligible for placements after coming in 7th semester which is the start of 4th year. Multiple companies from both tech and core field visit the campus. Life at NIT Agartala: A Perfect Blend Of Academics, Opportunitites, and Campus Vibes

Placement Experience:

Placments at NIT Agartala are strong, with students becoming eligible for campus recruitment from 7th semester. Top compines include Google,TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Capgemini, L&T, Nvidia,Samsung,BEL and public sector units(PSUs). The highest package goes upto 50 LPA in software roles, while the average package ranges from 8-12 LPA for core and tech roles. Around 80-85% students secure placements, with higher percentage in CSE,ECE and core branches. After completing my B.Tech in ECE, I plan to explore opportunities in core electronics, Embedded systems, or software development, leveraging my academic background annd internship experiences.

My views on NIT-A

Placement Experience:

Placements records are pretty good and it's improving with time. The nirf ranking of nit Agartala among the engineering colleges has also reached 82 from 91 so it's a good walk . And there's no unemployment of the student has the potential.

It is long journey of hard work how i get in this college and course . First I qualified JEE main but not got good rank so I got Biotech branch in NIT Agartala according to my rank . But I studied well in first year and scored a high CGPA and slided my branch to Mechanical . I have in all top NITs but not got a ceat there . Admission is only through JEE main rank . JOURNEY TO NIT AGARTALA

When I was applying to collleges, I appeared for JEE Mains and applied to other NITS and IIITS , My aim wwas to secure admission in reputed national institutes with good placements. I got admission in NIT Agartala(ECE Branch),which i chose over other colleges because of NIT brand value, national-level peer group, alumini network. I couldn't make it to the top tier NITS and IIITS as my JEE rank was slightly higher than their cutoff range. The competition is extremely tough and even a few marks can make huge difference in rank. The admission process is conducted through JoSAA/CSAB councelling based on score, For btech admission,JEE main is the accepted and most prefrred exam. The basic eligibilty is passing 10+2 wiht Physics ,Chemistry and Maths. Cutoff vary depending on category and branch.
