Good college but they should focus on placements of underrated students.

Yes, college provides internship in so many companies like:- HCL, Siemens stipend was around 10K to 20K

Thier are many companies which visits campus here like TCS, infosys, HCL CISCO, ect minimum package starts from 3.5L. but the students should meet the entry requirement i.e good academics. college cant do any thing if your academics are poor.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel are well equipped, there are tow types of hostel NRI which costs around 1.25L per year and normal around 75000 per year. but you can get enough pg's beside college, costs around 5000.

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Faculty

Faculty is very qualified, focused on research mainly on image processing, any one interested in image processing should join the college.

A mini heaven on earth called NITK

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose Mtech Thermal Engineering because I was interested in thermal subjects like Fluid mechanics, Heat transfer, CFD. The Curriculum is pretty decent and it does covers the fundamentals and advanced topics of the particular subject but it could be better in terms of imparting practical and industrial knowledge. The exams that are held in NITK are competitive and requires a good understanding of the subject. You simply cannot cram and get good marks in exam. You have to know the proper implementation of that particular formula or theory.

Dayanand sagar college of engineering overall review

Review Of Dayananda Sagar College Of Engineering.

I choose this college because of the location and the placements. The college is 45 years old and has a good connection in the industry. The placements are also decent. The location of the college is really beautiful. One will find all the necessities near and around the college itself. I didn't perform well in my jee examinations, but my comedk exam went well, so I came to this college. There are 3 ways to take addmission in this college. 1st is through Comedk exam which is for all the students, inside and outside Karnataka, 2nd is through the KCET exam which is only for the Karnataka students .
