Remarks

There was an exam conducted by the university, and then after selection you have to give an interview. For my process, there is an exam for aptitude and coding MCQ. The interview was more focused on machine learning, data science, and SQL. The Admission was on Google and in the Administration department.

I have an interest in Data Science and wanted to plan a master in that field, so I have planned to do a master. I have decided to join as it is a work integrated programme. The teacher-to-student ratio of 1:4 is there. All faculty are PHD holders. Exam are difficult.

Class Size: 20Course Fees: INR 150000 per year

Internships Opportunities

The companies and roles are: Scatterpie Analytics-Data Science-intern, Business Analyst, Data Analyst Intern. SKL Analytics-Machine Learning Intern, Software Engineer Intern, Happiest Minds-Data Science Intern.

Placement Experience

Placements can be said to be moderate for masters. Providing internships with a stipend starting from 10000 to 35000. Companies like Philips, Scatterpie Analytics, Happiest Mind Technology, etc.

Fees and Financial Aid

So its one time fee investment, i.e., is 3 lakh for 2 years and 4 semesters. There are some scholarships offered for women. I also got a scholarship of 25,000 as I had performed well in interviews and exams.

Campus Life

There are many festivals, but I am unaware of them because of the COVID time. There were interactive programs, but I attended for exams at the beginning of the second semester. There is a library and all books are available. It has excellent infrastructure.

After joining the course with 3 months of starting of the course the placements will be startedforthe students to apply for the placements. Tier-1MNCs companies are visiting for the college which are proving high package . The highest package got is 94LPA and average package is 10LPA. 95% of students got the placements.

The courses they offer are not so relative to our stream. We also had questioned this to higher authorities. But they just say that the syllabus is fixed and they cant help . And if we need to pass we have to study those subjects.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement conditions have improved in IISc after the inception of campus placement cell. Average package is around I would say 25 lpa. Since most of the students go for higher studies from IISc hence, you will see the placement percentage to be low. Personality I am also going for higher studies.
