My campus journey @ VTU

Choosing civil engineering as a career opportunity became a good decision for me. I have gone through various aspects from construction of residential and commercial buildings to safegaurding the environment through subjects like environmental engineering and solid waste mnagement. Better teaching methods in now a days can be adopted like video orientation classes and understanding the core topics through animation. Etc.

College has provided the letters of request by addressing on the suggestion of students to their interested organizations and corporates. Even I got a chance to work as an intern in Public Works Department karnata govt for one month in Hubli Dharwad region.

I got admitted in management quota my fee structure was quite higher than the regular students. Tution fee : 34000 Govt fee : 56000 Hostel fee : 60000 It was around 1.5 lakhs per year and course is of 4 years Total expence for the course was in between 6-8 lakhs I have availed benifits of NSP and SSP scholarships from state and centeral govt both.

Eveey year annual welcome function for freshers and final year students see off functions will be held and were celebrated very energitically with joyfulness by both students and faculties. Many international research papers and journals were available Every year sports activties were held and participants and winners were get rewarded.

Hostel facilities were excellent. Mess was fed up with local cooks and food was really tastey. Accomodation was good all basic facilities were available and even room changing process was easy too. Their were strict rules against ragging. Although a ecofriendly and student friendly environment.

During 2016 we were able to go directly to the college and get the form by filling it and submission was the process. Now they may be following the online process for it. Applying in VTU is easy process you can apply directly through VTU website. vtu.ac.nic.in

All faculties were available and even we were allowed to their cabins to ask doubts regarding their subjects. We were able to communicate directly with HOD's and other department executives regarding any quarries related to our studies.
