- as the college is located outside of bhubaneswar main city in khorda gothapatna , the it is quite, silent and provides an atmosphere to study unlike many colleges and more ever it is surrounded by greenery.
- the security and hostel authority are good and no one is allowed after 9:30 pm neither boys nor girls
- the faculity is good and the vonding between the senior junior is quite appreciable
Dislikes
- the coding atmosphere is not that good and developed
- the campus is too small only 50 acrs and the mode of transportation is limited
Course Curriculum Overview
With many universities, we do have the same curriculum as iit. we do follow the same syllabus as them. In the first year, we have to study only. The curriculum does not really prepare us for the real world you have to study on your own. the curriculum is outdated as like others it needs to be updated. the is mid sem and end sem exams every semester with a gap of 2-3 months approx and in each exam, you have the quiz and lab test

There are many roles offered in the campus placements like sde 1,marketing ,developer, which is detailed listed at iiit bhubaneswar site and they see the projects and outcomes of the work that we have done in our 3 years
Placement Experience
from sixth sem people can be available for campus placement the companies oracle,dell,hp,amazon,cognegence,tcs,turing, and many more reputed companies you can find it in their site the heighest ctc this year on campus is 39,00,000 and median salary is around 10,00,000 many students get placed after the campus placement ' i will apply for both on campus and off campus placements.
Fees and Financial Aid
the fees is constant for many years.nearly 200,000 per sem the complete course fees is nearlt 10,00,000 to 12,00,000 the government scholarship are available woprth 50,000 and more campus employment part is not available
Campus Life
our college hold many festival like technofest d3 , college annual fest called advaita there is a wide range of books and journals available in the library. the classroom is projector enabled with black-board the college also held sports tournaments every year there are many clubs and societies according to their interest.
Hostel Facilities
in first year you get a three seater/four seater room based upon your luck the hostel meals is not good at all evey year it changes the hostel registration is done at the time of orintation itself many pgs are availavble near by the campus
Admission
As like many other the students are selected on the basis of the JEE exam. The reservation is 50% for the Odisha category and all india fellows have to go through Jossa. For Odisha category, they have a separate admission process on their site
Faculty
being in the top branch we generally get good and experienced teachers .though some have knowledge but they donot teach . many teachers are exceptionally good in their field.the faculity to student ratio is 1:77 approx, all faculty have done their mtech and phd from reputed university like IITKGP,NIT ROURKELA,IIT BOMBAY ETC. the teachers are mostly approachable and they try their best to solve the problems and doubts.
