Course Curriculum Overview

4

The cirriculum is nice and have all the tips which an succesful product designer need. The cirriculum starts with course title like "Elements of design" and "History of design" which gives an strong foundation in design. Course like "Poduct design studio" and Material exploration" develop core skill essentials for product designers. Courses like "Product symeotics" and "Product styling" helps in aesthetic of product.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is 0.99 lakh for first year and will changes as per the different years. There is another fee for summer semester in which backpaper gets clear and for re checking of paper also we have to give some extra amount to revise our paper once again.

Campus Life

2.5

My experience is good in choosing my friend group as they are decent but there are many students who fight and all just beware of them and stay away from them, they are only reason for degrading the college.

Admission

There is no strict admission process, there will be a formality interview held for which student be asked "about themself" and why you want to choose this course and what all skills you have. After this student just have to submit fees and can enter the campus.

Faculty

2

Nature of faculties are nice but many of them dont know how to teach either they do not have experience or not have perfect skills. Many of engineering departments faculties and modify our syllabus upto them which is not necessary in product designing too.

Course Curriculum Overview:

7 out of 10. I chose product design cuz the syllabus of it was much more comprehensive than other domains in amity. The curriculum for product design is well articulated to match the industry standards. However a In certain areas the teachers fail to provide the necessary teaching and tutorials. The frequency of exams is basically once every two months approximately. And so far the exams haven't been tough in my opinion.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course cuz the curriculum includea almost everything. Nothing could ever prepare someone for real world applications until unless you step out in the real world itself. The rush before the exams. I wish the teachers would manage it better. The first semester was horrible due to this. The end term exams start almost after a month of mid terms which makes the semester end exam quite difficult.

The curriculum will teach alot of things but some of the courses will make you feel like useless and some will teach you good after all. The college will teach you alot and will make you patient and understanding. And the curriculum changes every year which is a very great thing to learn

Placement Experience:

After the first semester itself, they provided internships of almost 10k not from this year even providing a mac or iPad which is required for your course and I think this is one thing that I like the most. There are many companies which visit our college like Dalmia, Yatra, gohive, KARO and many more. I'll work with a company.

Placement Experience:

80% of my seniors were got placed with many great big companies like Gucci, Grazia and many more with the highest package of 7-8 lpa but can go up to 10-11 lpa, the lowest package is 3 lpa and the average is ~4.5 lpa. Almost every student gets internship easily with big brands as visual merchandiser, graphic designer, fashion photographer, stylist and etc. roles are offered.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Interested in footwear design and then lifestyle goods so I opted for leather design. 8 teachers: 29 students in the leather department and 1 lab assignment and also taught by industrial designers. Good quality of education with an upgraded method which is very much practical with the trend. in 6 months I.e in 1 semester = midterm(30) + end term (30) + final jury exam (40). It is a continuous evaluation of a project in which one should present everything in the final jury exam.

Remarks:

The most positive remark about my college will be the infrastructure. The infrastructure is really very bright and light hearted. There are a lot of colours and the campus is really spacious big and clean. The hostel infrastructure is really to die for. You will find each and every facility in the hostel room.
