Remarks

• I applied for nift only and opted for Leather Design • As per NIFT 2018 exam pattern, entrance is conducted in 2 stages viz. 1st Written&drawing test and 2nd situation test. • The applying criteria- 12th pass from any stream • After clearing both the stages of the exam you are provided with a mentor who will clear your all doubts or you can also follow the nift official website for every update like the exam date, result check, document to fill, admission fee, medical etc.

Course Curriculum Overview

•Interested in footwear design and then lifestyle goods so I opted for leather design. •8 teachers: 29 students in the leather department and 1 lab assignment and also taught by industrial designers. •Good quality of education with an upgraded method which is very much practical with the trend. •in 6 months I.e in 1 semester = midterm(30) + end term (30) + final jury exam (40). It is a continuous evaluation of a project in which one should present everything in the final jury exam.

Class Size: 29Course Fees: INR 127000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Every semester 1.3 to 1.5 lakhs. College also provides scholarships and per hours paid job opportunities in the college. Scholarships include a sarthak financial assistance scheme for every category of students and also provide some specific scholarships including state scholarships.

Campus Life

The name of the tech fest is converged and it is held in December. Books are available in both online and offline modes. All fashion and art books are available. You can experience face painting, graffiti installation etc.

A complete review of amity university noida

Course Curriculum Overview:

7 out of 10. I chose product design cuz the syllabus of it was much more comprehensive than other domains in amity. The curriculum for product design is well articulated to match the industry standards. However a In certain areas the teachers fail to provide the necessary teaching and tutorials. The frequency of exams is basically once every two months approximately. And so far the exams haven't been tough in my opinion.

Amity is not as bad as you might think.

Placement Experience:

From the third year you're eligible for campus placement. The placement is not that great as of now since asft is pretty new and they're still fetching companies but there are options. The campus placement advisors are pretty great and helpful. And even if you don't find campus placement, there are a lot of openings now for the same since fashion designing has become pretty popular since the last few years

The Eligibility is to pass 12th board and clear the NIFT entrance exam to enter into the college . You can find the form and all in the NIFT website and apply for around Oct - Nov and the exam would be conducted in btw Dec - Feb ,it happens once in a year you can approach coaching centres of needed.
