Course Curriculum Overview
Curriculum for the course is designed orderly by the department which will help us to gain knowledge regarding leather and its implication in making clothes and accessories. Apart from that practical training is also included in the course.
Placement Experience
In terms of placement, NIFT invited various companies to participate in the placement event every year. Mostly in leather designed, good leather production companies visit the campus and hire students based on their skill and knowledge.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure for the B.DES (LEATHER DESIGN) costs around Rs 11 lakhs for the 4-year course. This fee only covers tuition fees and for hostel and other facilities, students have to pay extra amount. I think this amount is moderate compared to other colleges and loan facilities are also available.
Campus Life
In terms of extracurricular activities, NIFT provides students with a highly designed and beautiful campus with various amenities that help them in their projects and academics. Also, it provides students with good medical facilities and various research labs where they can design their clothes.
Admission
I got my admission to the college by clearing up the entrance examination taken by the university. But first I applied in the college by filling admission form and got my details for the examination. After I got selected on the merit list I visited campus and signed up the formalities.
Faculty
I admire the faculty of my college as they are very professional in their work and are highly educated. They help students to grasp the important knowledge about the subject with real-life examples which h us to understand the concept in a better way.
