Course Curriculum Overview
The college curriculum is totally practical based and only teach things essential in the industry and focus on mastering the basics. Instead of written exams we have jury's where 3-4 faculty's make up a panel and evaluate your project
Internships Opportunities
I haven't done anything intership yet but I have heard about internships and Park Avenue is a brand that frequently gives internships to the students from our college and many times it also provides jobs after graduation
Placement Experience
Student are eligible after 4th year for placement, many MNCs visit our college for placement. Last year Raymond gave campus placements to many students. The highest package was around 24lpa and the average is 12lpa. The placement percentage is around 80-90%
Fees and Financial Aid
The Fees per semester is 1,83,000 and there are total 8 semester, fees is same for students from all the categories but if the students annual income is less than 4 lakhs he/she gets a 100% off on his fees under tha sarthak scholarship
Campus Life
There are many events that take place in NIFT like, Converge, it is a 3 days event which is held annually at any NIFT campus across India and all the NIFT campuses send their 50 student to participate in 30 events overall. There are many clubs in our college each for a different hobby like sports club, literature club, cultural club etc.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel facility provided by the college is really good and we are provided with AC rooms. The menu is always consisting on 2 vegetables 1 daal rice a sweet and dahi and regional food at some decided days of the week
Admission
I wanted NIFT so that I could perceive my fashion design career and I chose NIFT over other colleges like NID. I had gotten admission into NID but didn't wanted it so I rejected NID and joined NIFT for my fashion career
Faculty
Faculty and student relation are really good faculty's help student with academic and non academic issues like personal life. Stuti Sonkar Ma'am is the student welfare head and she handles each every situation in a cool way
Night Life
There is nearly to no night life around the campus but you can find students ordering food late at night from the nearest 24/7 dominos due to working till late night on assignments and deadlines given by the college
