Remarks

Great infrastructure crowd facility opportunities bade: attendance issue and then timing.

Entrance Preview

I never had in mind to do college as i was working as AR executive in US based firm but for sake i gave ip university exams n cleared with a all over rank of 2267 and was cleared for the best college of ip university for B.Com pass but i didn't went there then finally came amity to pursue this course to become well known fashion photographer.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course structure is good we were studying all about this industry in 1 yr but now its more narrowed to the fashion communication subjects.

Internships Opportunities

They provide internship i have once looked on the board the co that came here were gap tommy, puma, pantaloons etc.

Placement Experience

I don't know much but we were once in some seminar recently in university one of the student asked about job and salary then the answer he got was basic salary for fresher will be 25k just the salary then limits are sky.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Mostly its same as other pvt university or the other but i don't know about other courses.

I don't know but yes the ones who scored 90% and above in 12 they are given scholarship.

Campus Life

They are good and rules and regulations are been followed.

Hostel Facilities

Hostels don't provide food plus the rooms are on sharing basis and are very small to share or adjust.

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna

They are helpful and easy to talk to and my brother is my senior as he is in my block only dong fine arts but this year he left.

Exam Structure

They are great and never let us down and exam structure is also good they last up to 4 weeks with 10 subjects so isn't hectic for students.

Faculty

Faculty are great they help us always guide us better than others and let us express our views.

About Fashion Department in GKFTII

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course cuz the curriculum includea almost everything. Nothing could ever prepare someone for real world applications until unless you step out in the real world itself. The rush before the exams. I wish the teachers would manage it better. The first semester was horrible due to this. The end term exams start almost after a month of mid terms which makes the semester end exam quite difficult.

In college, we used to get many facilities which are necessary for a student. In every way, our school manager sir and other teachers used to cooperate very well so that the children do not face any problem. The children liked their style of teaching very much. Amity is not as bad as you might think.

Placement Experience:

From the third year you're eligible for campus placement. The placement is not that great as of now since asft is pretty new and they're still fetching companies but there are options. The campus placement advisors are pretty great and helpful. And even if you don't find campus placement, there are a lot of openings now for the same since fashion designing has become pretty popular since the last few years

Reality Of Joining NIFT As A Student.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Interested in footwear design and then lifestyle goods so I opted for leather design. 8 teachers: 29 students in the leather department and 1 lab assignment and also taught by industrial designers. Good quality of education with an upgraded method which is very much practical with the trend. in 6 months I.e in 1 semester = midterm(30) + end term (30) + final jury exam (40). It is a continuous evaluation of a project in which one should present everything in the final jury exam.

The process was pretty drawn out. It was easy and pretty comfortable. There are no cut-off as such for asft since it's all about art and not competition. But they do make you give an entrance exams where they ask you basic questions and ask you to draw stuff. I pretty much liked everything about it. The course requires you to have a certified bachelors' degree from a university. The application form is easily tracked in the official website of the college.
