Admission to B.Des course

Being a technical institute great emphasis is given on making it a good foundation program for future Industrial designers. Although it is a technology oriented design programme, many elements of the curriculum also sensitize the students towards the craft sector's design needs as well trained to become entrepreneurs and special emphasis is given on Design research, Industrial Design and Product Design.

Since this course is at its infancy so no placements are done until now but definitely regular counselling sessions and guidance is provided to the students from their very first year to achieve their best possible placement in the competitive global market. But the number of internships is quite high, infact I would say that almost every student in this course has got an internship.

All festivals and National Holidays are celebrated with great fervor. In spite the fact that focus is on academics but college life is fun and has its own charm. The Institute encourages its students to join various clubs like the dramatic club or the photographic club for a wholesome intellectual development. It is the endeavor of the institute to develop the intellectual capacity of the students to prepare for a complex and multidimensional work environment in the future.

It is a 4 yr course with the fees of Rs.98,800/- per year, so the total fees for a four year course is approx 395,200/- Since it a technical course i would say that the fee structure is afforadable in comparison to other institutes.

Campus facilities include the Boys /girls common rooms, Computer Lab has the ultra high-performance machines with the latest graphics, computer-aided design and simulation software.,Library is well stocked with over 2000 books pertaining to all the courses and has both reading and reprographic facility for the convenience of the students and the researchers alike.

A valid UCEED score is required for admission to B.Des course 20% seats are open for All India Candidates.Candidates admitted through UPSEE need to deposit the fee at the Institute after deducting the amount paid for seat confirmation.
