One of Best College for Designing

FDDI is overall an awesome college either it being the academics, co-curricular or the infrastructure of the college. The teachers are quite helpful and the events help incorporate the management and speaking skills in us, which helps us gain confidence also.

The course curriculum is well suited to make us professionals in different techniques. Subjects like Design Foundation, Soft Skill Development, Product Design and development, Fashion, Styling are incorporated in our course. Also, specialization in software like Coral Draw, Photoshop and CAD is also provided by the curriculum. Many management subjects are also incorporated in our syllabus like Principles of Management, Marketing, Finance & Accounting and Organization Behavior, Project Management. Examinations are held semester-wise and also timely internal evaluations are done by college to ensure our practical skills as well as knowledge.

Many companies like Tommy Hilfiger, Bata, Titan and Flipkart visited the campus last year for recruitments. Some good performing students of pre-final and final year are provided internships and fellowships in some good companies also.

The college fee is quite expensive ranging from Rs. 65,000 to Rs. 89,000 charged per semester. The whole course fee sums up to around Rs. 624,000, one can also apply for certain concessions provided by the college to meritorious students. The fee is a little expensive but the exposure and skills taught are more than the worth.

The college has pretty good labs for cutting/closing, designing labs and also libraries are also well-furnished and well equipped with a wide variety of books. The college hosts workshops for students to provide more knowledge.

For taking admission in FDDI, there are two processes, counselling and direct admissions. I took admission by second mode, I applied to the college at their site and soon I got a time-slot for attending their Paper Based Test, which I cleared with ease and got admission in FDDI Fursatganj. I visited the college and completed my admission process to ensure my seat for B.Des in FDDI.

The faculty of our college is very good and teaches us different technologies, strategies and techniques in a very interesting and interactive way. Teachers usually focused our studies on the practical development of our skills with basic knowledge.
