Entrance Preview

I didn't had in mind to go to college as i was working in US based firm but for sake of passing 12. I gave IP university exam n got 2278 as my rank in b.com pass.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course here provides a wide variety of subjects in 1 year we were given knowledge of all the work done in this fashion industry and now on we are focused on fashion communication subjects.

Internships Opportunities

Yes they provide internship i have seen a list for senior which mention gap tommy puma pantaloon and much more.

Placement Experience

In one seminar someone asked about he package they said freshers get 25 k as start salary just and then limits are sky.

College Events

College celebrated Inbush, fest , freshers, sangathan, gaming competition and other competitions as well.

Fees and Financial Aid

I guess for the once who have scored 90+ in 12 get scholarships

Exam Structure

Yes they are great no issues with lab and exams are also good structured as they last 4 weeks which have 10 subjects .

Faculty

Teachers are the best part here they won't get irritated by no matter what a student ask a particular ques again again they always provide valuable info and allow us to research on the same via labs or sometimes visting places.

About Fashion Department in GKFTII

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course cuz the curriculum includea almost everything. Nothing could ever prepare someone for real world applications until unless you step out in the real world itself. The rush before the exams. I wish the teachers would manage it better. The first semester was horrible due to this. The end term exams start almost after a month of mid terms which makes the semester end exam quite difficult.

In college, we used to get many facilities which are necessary for a student. In every way, our school manager sir and other teachers used to cooperate very well so that the children do not face any problem. The children liked their style of teaching very much. Amity is not as bad as you might think.

Placement Experience:

From the third year you're eligible for campus placement. The placement is not that great as of now since asft is pretty new and they're still fetching companies but there are options. The campus placement advisors are pretty great and helpful. And even if you don't find campus placement, there are a lot of openings now for the same since fashion designing has become pretty popular since the last few years

Reality Of Joining NIFT As A Student.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Interested in footwear design and then lifestyle goods so I opted for leather design. 8 teachers: 29 students in the leather department and 1 lab assignment and also taught by industrial designers. Good quality of education with an upgraded method which is very much practical with the trend. in 6 months I.e in 1 semester = midterm(30) + end term (30) + final jury exam (40). It is a continuous evaluation of a project in which one should present everything in the final jury exam.

The process was pretty drawn out. It was easy and pretty comfortable. There are no cut-off as such for asft since it's all about art and not competition. But they do make you give an entrance exams where they ask you basic questions and ask you to draw stuff. I pretty much liked everything about it. The course requires you to have a certified bachelors' degree from a university. The application form is easily tracked in the official website of the college. Application fees is nominal of around Rs 1500.
