Remarks

I have always been interested in fashion. I kept searching for the best colleges since I was in 8th grade. And I found out that National Institute Of Fashion Technology is l the best college for fashion. So I applied for it and thankfully got admitted. Honestly, nift is actually the best college, studying there is fun and the facilities are amazing. The faculties are great and friendly and strict so that we all can do our best.

Course Curriculum Overview

Curriculum is great. The subjects are interesting and the way they are taught by the faculties is also amazing. We have various labs, we have practicals, and lectures and we mostly have practical classes as we need to practice and learn about stuff. My favorite faculty in my college is Dr. Ujwal Banerjee, and that is because he really is an amazing teacher and he teaches really well, he knows how to handle students.

Placement Experience

3.5

I am a second year student, so I don't know much about it yet. But about how much I know, the placements are good.

College Events

3

The activities are amazing, as the campus is huge I always wander around with my friends, play sports and sometimes juat sit around in the garden and jam to songs playing some guitar and spending some time together. We have amazing events, some inter college and some intra college and they are both so much fun and helpful for the growth. Learning in my college is great because we have the weird vibe which has made me a nerd but it really us fun to be a part of it.

Fees and Financial Aid

There is one scholarship program named SARTHAK, I haven't availed that but I have heard about it. The details are available on the official website. The people who come under the eligibility criteria can get 50% - 100% scholarship for the semesters or the full course too.

Campus Life

We have around 4 sports grounds, a basket ball ground, badminton court, volleyball and a football ground. We have 24/7 wifi and the library is very spacious and it has all the book we can refer to for our courses. And we have around 3 labs per floor, and it is a 3 store main campus. We have a lot of machines and equipments in our labs.

Hostel Facilities

We have 2 girls hostel and 1 is like an open government quarters and the other one looks like a typical hostel. We mostly have double sharing rooms and the hostel is big enough for everyone to be there so there is no vacancy problem. The boys hostel is a little smaller as there is a less number of boys but there is alzo no vacancy problem. But there are some people who are not comfortable to be in a hostel so there are some PGs 10 mins(walking distance) away from the campus.

would rate the curriculum 7/10. It covers basics like management, finance and marketing, which helps in real-world understanding. However, it needs more practical exposure and industry projects. Exams are semester-wise and moderate in difficulty.

In the college we have a designated internship cell which actively provides internship for law students throughout the semester. For placement, pre placement offer starts coming in last semester. Also college conduct placement drives for final year students where tier 1,2,and 3 law firms come and select students and offers reasonable package for freshers.

Since curriculum was given by AKTU itself, colleges only has the power to choose elective subjects- Few subjects were my fav and helped me alot in lot's of different scenerios - like EDC,Network Theory and ofc VLSI Design was my fav. For ECE students - university shd mandate Satellite communication and VLSI Technology a compulsory as it's a kind of core subjects and in every PSU as well as govt exams , questions from this subject always been asked by authorities. More faculties staff's are required.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As the faculty teachers and all the staff was very good and the faculty teachers of the science were very fabulous in education causes me to choose this course... The curriculum here was in terms of social interaction was ok but it was not that good for the future real world academic pursuits as their were not that much activities for the social appearance... In terms of course curriculum and teaching method this college doesn't need much improvements because it is much better according to teaching method , as the teachers were good in terms of teaching... The timing and frequency was having much gap between one semester exam and the other semester exam , so there were not much difficulty in giving exams according to my perspective...
