Course Curriculum Overview
It is a four years long course. The institute provides bachelor of design in four main specialisations. One of those is fashion designing. I always wanted to be fashion designers so I found this Institute best for this course. The course structure is interesting and in first year there is not too much practical work.
Placement Experience
Most of the students get placed and some students are there who don't get any placements but its not a big problem as after completing the course any one can starts its own boutique. Internships are provided by the college to the the final year students where we got training and we have to work on some projects.
Fee Structure And Facilities
One of the negative remark is the fees of the institute is expensive but there are other facilities so you can overlook the amount of fees. The fees for the fashion designing course is about rupees 11 lakhs. Some students study there by taking loans.
Campus Life
Events are celebrated in the college in a very amazing manner.Labs of every fashion department is well-equipped and the atmosphere is colorful and vibrant that it makes us to design more creatively.Sports facilities are also there like basketball, volleyball where we can pass time.Festivals and important dated like republic day ,diwali etc.are also celebrated.
Admission
I applied in the college through online mode of application. I filled up the necessary details. The basic eligibility criteria is the basis of your scores in CAT and GAT. After clearing the entrance tests held by NIFT I got the admission.
Faculty
The faculty are professional in their work and very well explain everything about fashion and keep updated us about the latest fashion trends. They are supportive and doing their job very well.There is different faculty for the different departments.
