Course Curriculum Overview

4

I chose the B.tech CSE course at Amity University due to its focus on emerging technologyies like IOt , Ai , ML and cloud computing while the curriculum of a strong theoretical foundation it could benefit from the more practical exposure such as project is learning and industry collaborations. The course prepares students well for further academic pursuits but could include more hands on experience and updated topics like Blockchains and iot to stay relevant. Exams are held twice per semester with the fair gap between midterm and endterm they are moderately challenging , balancing theoretical knowledge with practical application , required in through preparation

Internships Opportunities

3

It's my second year only and honestly I don't know much about internships here. But there is a summer internship every year in which students have to make projects and reports and followed by viva and presentation after completion. But there is no stipend i guess

Placement Experience

3

Placement are good if you maintain a good CGPA and have the required skills you will definitely get placed here with an average of 7 lakhs per annum. Top companies like Microsoft, Amazon , Alto , Oracle , Infosys, Tcs , Accenture etc visits every year . Many students receive multiple offers with the giants offering attractive packages. Over 80% of the students from Cse department typically placed. Highest package offered is around 63 lakh by Alto company in the year 2024. While the average package around to students is approximately 6 to 8 lakh per annum. My plans is to get placed in top company.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee for the Btech CSE program at Amity University Noida is Rs. 364000 for the first year increasing 10% annually. An additional one time security deposit of Rs. 20000 is required during admission, with no other charges throughout the course. The university does not have a management quota but offers sponsered and non sponsered categories, where sponsered students pay approximately Rs 100000 extra annually. Scholarships are available for meritorious students: those scoring 90-95% in 12th boards receive a 50% fee waiver for the first year , while students scoring above 95% get a 100% fee waiver. Scholarships are renewed based on maintaining a requisite CGPA during academics.

Campus Life

5

My overall experience with campus life at Amity University has been enriching both socially and academically the university provides a vibrant environment with strong focus on extra curricular activities and student engagement. Amity University is known for its annual festivals including Amity youth festival typically in held in February and Amity techfest usually in November. These festivals feature cultural performance, technical workshop and guest lecture by industry leaders, making them a huge draw for students. The library of Amity is well stocked with a wide range of books journals and e-resources making it easy for student to access academic materials and research papers. To online journal access through the database like IEEE, Springer and Elsevier is incrediblely helpful for research. To be honest Amity has the world best library. Classrooms are equipped with latest smart boards, audio visuals aids and projectors offering a tech-savvy environment conducive to modern learning. Amity encourages a healthy balance between academic and sports. The University boasts excellent sports facility including basketball court, football ground and swimming pool. A sport tournament also known as 'Sangathan' held once in a year with grand event.

Hostel Facilities

4

Hostel are of two types in Amity, Non-ac and Ac. I opted for Non-ac . I shared my room with one person. The room has beds study table and chair including big almirah for each . Room was spacious and had separate toilet and bathroom. For meals there were many canteens and you have to purchase meals everytime because it was not included with the hostel feels. Taste was good enough and variety of foods available but only veg For registration you have to apply online during admission. There are several PGs nearby within walking distance

Admission

I choose Amity University of our other colleges because of its strong academic reputation , state of the art infrastructure and a well rounded approach to extracurriculars and placements unlike some other universities I applied to Amity offers a well balanced curriculum that includes hands on experience in emerging fields like AI, iot and cloud computing additionally the campus life and opportunities for student engagement were a huge Plus. I also applied to lovely professional University and galgotia University but I found that Amity provided more flexibility in the course options industry tiles and a better campus environment The admission process at Amity involves applying online followed by university level entrance exam or based on JEE mains scores for b.tech the regibility BTech requires a minimum of 70% in 12th grade with very chemistry and mathematics core subjects. If you have more than 85 percent in 12th boards you will get direct admission without any exam or interview

Faculty

4

The faculty to students ratio is approximately 1:20 , which allows for manageable class sizes. Some faculties stand out due to their expertise and engaging teaching methods. Mr. Pankaj tayal ( professor for algorithms) Is one of my favourite teacher because he explain concepts with real world examples making class interesting and insightfull. There may be a few faculty members of teaching styles lean heavily on theoretical knowledge which can feel monotonous or disconnected from practical applications like Mr. Umesh vats ( professor for mechanical engineering). The university conducts two main exams per semester mid term and and end term additionally assignments and internal assessments contribute to the final grade. The exams are moderately difficult emphasizing both conceptual understanding memorization. On average 5 to 10% of students struggle to clear exam often to lack of attendance are preparation and the curriculum is relevant or industry standard though it could benefit from increased hand on exposure

Night Life

4

Amity University Noida does not have a bustling nightlife like a city centre but there are several places there students can hangout after a long day of classes. the campus has a peaceful vibe at night with cafeterias and public place areas usually closing by 10:00 p.m. , The library typically shuts down by 8:00 p.m. which allow student to focus and academic during the day but not support the light late night study. Inside the colleges it has dominos, CCD and much more and we have gym and a gaming zone too. Outside campus have popular hangouts spots around the campus include the Great India place mall , DLF Mall of India and cafes and restaurants in the nearby sector markets. Amity is quite safe inside the college but some students do showoff outside college.

I choose B.Tech CSE course as I am interested in Computer and Coding. Don't go behind the trend. Choose the course according to your interest. Every course and specialization is difficult in its own. Personally I suggest if you took addmission and you are in 1st semester, please focus on your studies. Don't kept roaming and bunking classes as 75% attendance is also necessary.

The curriculum is Totally academic level which is easy to moderate There are only one or two coding subjects which is done in form of workshops The overall syllabus is good but old and is related to aktu syllabus which needs a change and won't help in technical field a lot Curriculum is still moderate and easy to clear but still some students are back and detained due to less attendance Which is the biggest issue in this college that is 85% u can only take 6-7 holidays in a semester which is so less and two three holiday will let u detained in sessionals which will overall decrease the internal marks in your overall cgpa of college

Course Curriculum Overview:

The subjects like ITC, COI influenced me as why they are in the curriculum they don't provide any skills for the engineering students. Students also studies these subjects in one day and give exam and they forget these subjects add no importance in the curriculum. There are subjects like acquiring buisness communication which helps us to improve our conversation skills confidence that is helpful in the future while interviews. The improvement in the subjects which is not useful for engineering and to increase more things which helps us in coding make us skill good. The frequency and timings of exams are quite tough there are consecutive classes along sessional exams student always stressed and the attendance is also higher so the student can't also take leave for his own mentality stability and to relax . The difficulty is quite high .
