Likes
- The College campus is lush green and it is in the outer side of bangalore so there is less pollution . The college do care about its students and help them for their overall developement . Also it is ranked among top 5 colleges of bangalore .
- Due to the quiet location of this college you can really focus on your skills and do your overall personality development . Also comparatively there is less distractions for students so they can study properly .
- The student intake is optimal so the college management cares to listen about the students and you dont feel left out . Also mos of the teachers are well qualified so academics will not be that big of a problem .
Dislikes
- Sometimes to go to some events and main city it takes a lot of time as the college location is somewhat remote . Also college does not provide guidance on how to travel in public transport as there is some language barriers among students .
- The 85 % attendance criteria is very hectic . Students get detained if they dont maintain minimum 85 % attendance . Some teachers are also very strict regarding attendance . College hours are also moe like 8 hours so you will get less time to study
- Library is also closed on holidays and some of the teachers are not upto the mark they just read presentation slides . Also the events and fests are not upto the mark . It feels more like a school annual function .
Course Curriculum Overview
I am in cse as it is the safe option but other branches in this college feels like no good thing as the placements ar nt that good . The curriculum is somwhat in the middle of good and bad as some subjects totally feels useless . The exams frequency and level is chill . Real world application is also average .
Internships Opportunities
Due to recession year the internship are not that great we haven't heard of anyone in particular . According to me only the students who are very god can grab a internship and most of them are off campus . So build your own network .
Placement Experience
Placements were quie good in 2022 but there is a dip in year 2023 the highest package went down from 45 to 26 lpa and the average also went down . Companies like Ola AMAZON WEB SERVICE , ATLASSIAN do visit the campus and if uou are among top 10 % students you can grab a good placement .
Fees and Financial Aid
The tution fee for comedk students is okayish and from kcet students is very less but for management students it does not feel justiciable . There are no stipends and campus rewards also hostel is quite expensive.
Campus Life
The campus life , social aspects and club activities are kinda average not great to be honest college is more focused on academics and attendance . The college fest also does not feel that great . If you come to this college dont keep your hopes high .
Hostel Facilities
Boys hostel though is somewhat good , but the capacity is very less so most of the boys have to get in pgs which are very bad . Food is very good in hostel but not in college . Same problem with girls but there hostel is also not inside is college which is a problem .
Admission
cutt of cse is around 3000 rank in comed k . comedk and kcet students come by merit . Even some of the management students looks like worthy but few come only for degree from a reputable college . Still you can find good students in the college .
Faculty
It is somewhat in the middle , Some teachers are really good while others will just waste your time in the class and feel very annoying as they dont proide any value to your life . The faculty to student ratio is also okayishh . The teachers also often use local language which is a problem for students from other states .
