Course Curriculum Overview :

The curriculum is a hundred per cent relevant, it covers all the areas an engineer needs to know they provide subjects like soft skill development which is far from your core but helps to improve your character.

Class Size : 72Course Fees : INR 104000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

It is compulsory to do an internship in the 3rd and 5th semesters according to the curriculum the department will help you to find opportunities and yes there will be companies approaching you on your campus for paid internships.

Placement Experience :

Our campus provides a really good number of placements with high-average packages. Coming to the course (safety and Fire engineering )it has the highest placement percentage and average package in soe cusat

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fee is pretty high compared to other Kerala government engineering colleges but the opportunities and exposures that you can avail here are far better compared to other government colleges. In the case of academic placement, my campus can be compared to national institutes. Also, the students who belong to the sc/st categories only need to pay a negligible amount as the fee.

Campus Life :

For campus life you can choose Cusat blindly, it provides a diverse atmosphere, also the campus is situated in a broad area of 180+ acres there are many interstate and international students studying here and many social clubs are active here,

Admission :

There is an entrance exam called CAT for getting admission to BTech courses in Cochin University of Science and Technology if you can secure a rank of 6k (for general) you have a high possibility to get admission in Soe cusat.

Faculty :

They are well qualified, they are very supportive in your academics but they opt strict valuation methods in your internal and sem exams also they are very strict on attendance matters, overall you have a good experience

Campus is choosen wisely

Course Curriculum Overview:

Actually the university curriculum is bit old fasion.Like the technology is a way head of the things that we are studying in the sessions.But the basis are well learned from it.The improvement we need in that is that to get out of the instituion as a proffesional that can handle the new technolgy that the real world work in.The curriculum is need to improve so much as per the technology improves the students want to know what all changes that are happening in the real world and they want to be trained according to that.

In the 7th and 8th semesters, the students become eligible for campus placements. Infosys, and Spyridian, are the companies that often come for placements .3 -4 lakhs is the highest package given by these companies.The percentage of students getting placement is about 50-70. My plan is to go for higher studies or to go for a job.

SEEING STCET THROUGH MY VISION

Placement Experience:

From the 3rd year onwards we could attend placement interviews and many companies used to approach our college but mostly IT companies as I was in civil dept the construction companies were very less or NIL.
