The infrastructure of the college...they had classes for our extra activities like tailoring, typewriting, and beautician courses
The hostel faculties were amazing...and moreover the morals and values they provide is the ultimatum..

Dislikes

There were no phone allowed in hostels and the system was very strict

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum was well enough to make us fit for our higher education...the teaching methods were also good and well...all our teaching hands were doctrine and pg holders with prior experience..the exams they conducted and the results came were in time.

Fees and Financial Aid

We haven't had any placement...but in the case of course fee, I had reservation so I wasn't bothered..i received the stipends on time...the complete cost of my education was 45k per semester..i received the tuition fee through govt portal which was transferred to the college account..

Campus Life

They have programmes assigned for every festival foe every department... making sure of active participation also...they have a newspaper reading reading room having all kinds of magazines and papers... library also very good with worth books and facilities... Mercy College is known for its sports activities...they have NSS program and NCC also.

Hostel Facilities

The infrastructure of the hostel were amazing i should say...the quality of rooms and restrooms were nice and clean...they have wardens for separate floors...nice study hall...they have a well developed mess hall also which can accommodate a lot of students...meals are also balanced and made clean...

Hostel Fee: INR 4500 per year

Admission

The eligibility of the course is the student have to pass the plus two exam with 60 percentage marks..and 55 percentage for reservation categories...i found the application and allotment on the portal of Calicut University after receiving the allotment once filling the college options...the admission desk should be improved by alloting proper staffs..

Faculty

The faculties were friendly towards students...they were there for us for every need...marks were given liberally in internals...There were no biased behaviour towards students...our graduation felt so easy because of the faculties and our HOD..they conducted union meetings and inauguration for our department and proper recognition were given to our students...we had freshers and farewell without fail also...

Why you should/shouldn't join LISSAH

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is almost best. Curriculum doesn't influenced me in deciding this course. Curriculum should add internships. Currently there is no mandatory internship, if students are interested they can do internship during vacations. As we are learning psychology which need to be practiced in real world settings, curriculum must include real world training to help students understand things more effectively. Currently intervel between exams are non existent. Internal exams, then semester exams, you blink once, next internal exams, followed by semester exams. Syllabus is understandable, can learn if you try. Exams are also manageable. Real world examples and stories can be included in teaching methods, as psychology is related to humans and human interaction, to get better grasp of concepts. Rather than focusing on passing exam, should focus on the concepts and understand them in-depth. There are a lot of theories to study by heart. And there are many repetitive topics that overlap, but in different semesters.

Peekay college, The heaven of studies and programs.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course to help others.social service was the main motive. I'm now persuing post graduation because i got best classes from best teachers. Real world applications are that i can be a good psychologist. The exams are gaped 6 months. Difficulty depends on the teachers who prepare the exam papers. But mainly it is syllabus based.
