Course Curriculum Overview

My course was BSc.Biotechnology. The course included combination of biology and technology. The course used living organisms and bio processes to alter the cells for manipulation. The course was of 3 years.

Placement Experience

My course was research oriented in the field of medical science. The course helps to create products useful for human life. The graduates can find opportunities in various companies like Ranbaxy, Cipla, Biocon, Reliance Life Sciences, Dr.Reddy? Lab and many more.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee for my course was expensive for the students from economically weak background. They charged heavy amount of Rs.85,660 for first year and Rs.85,300 for each second and third year. The college provides scholarships and amount will vary according to the courses.

Campus Life

The college organises various events like annual functions, seminars and workshops regularly. These uplift the self confidence. They also celebrated regional festivals, national days, sports competition.

Admission

The college accepts both online and offline mode of admission. I went for online mode by applying for admission through the official website of the institute. The Application fee was Rs.30 and the students were short listed on the basis of their marks in the qualifying exams. I was among those whose was mentioned in the merit list. I further went to college for documentation process.

Faculty

The faculty of our college explained every major point with a meaningful reference, example or illustration. They used to relate material to the student's world and developed the desire to know more. This course is beneficial for the students interested in research field and who wants to contribute for the benefit of society.

they do offer placements for both ug and pg. But For Pg Structured palcements are limited. For Pg students, especially in commerce and management placement oppartunites are offered. Companies like Federal Bank, Deloitte mostly offered. Since we had no placements, iam focusing currently on content creation and writing, actively working with online media due to my creative interest.

The students from our department are placed in companies like( Tata Consultancy services and Accenture) . I think the highest package and average packages are around 25000.
