Faculties are highly educated and friendly

CS,EEE,EC IT doesn't have basic mechanical and civil in the syllabus

Course Curriculum Overview :

Soe cusat include 7 btech courses split into 2 streams. Stream A consist of MECHANICAL,CIVIL, SAFETY & FIRE Engineering and stream B consists of COMPUTER SCIENCE, ELECTRICAL, ELECTRONICS, IT. SAFETY & FIRE is the best course among this.

Class Size : 60Course Fees : INR 104000 per year

Placement Experience :

Placements starts from 6th semester onwards. Companies like L&T , HYUNDAI, GAIL etc will visit .Safety and Fire btech has highest placement record of 24LPA and average 10LPA. 8cgpa and above are eligible for placement.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

There are mainly two merit system. State merit for kerala students and All india merit for all candidates. Statemerit have 28000rs per sem and all india merit have 52000rs per sem . PTA fund 4800rs.Many scholarships are available.

Campus Life :

CUSAT is an open campus. There are enormous courses available in cusat. There is a university library available open for all and soe library for department students. There is an amenity centre available for students which consists of 3D printing , badminton court,chess club , etc . There are enormous clubs and activities available.

Admission :

Need to qualify CAT entrance exam for admission. You need to score 10 in physics and chemistry and 10 in maths to qualify the exam. Allotment process is 90% online. There will be 3 spot admission for students in waiting list

Campus is choosen wisely

Course Curriculum Overview:

Actually the university curriculum is bit old fasion.Like the technology is a way head of the things that we are studying in the sessions.But the basis are well learned from it.The improvement we need in that is that to get out of the instituion as a proffesional that can handle the new technolgy that the real world work in.The curriculum is need to improve so much as per the technology improves the students want to know what all changes that are happening in the real world and they want to be trained according to that.

My Journey at MITS

Placement Experience:

Our campus placement will begin from 7th semester. From 5th semester onwards college will provide training for placements and we have placement cell for this. An average LPA of 5 is provided from our college. Good amount of companies visit our campus for placement and we also get oppertunity to go for off campus placement

Placement Experience:

In the 7th and 8th semesters, the students become eligible for campus placements. Infosys, and Spyridian, are the companies that often come for placements .3 -4 lakhs is the highest package given by these companies.The percentage of students getting placement is about 50-70. My plan is to go for higher studies or to go for a job.

SEEING STCET THROUGH MY VISION

Placement Experience:

From the 3rd year onwards we could attend placement interviews and many companies used to approach our college but mostly IT companies as I was in civil dept the construction companies were very less or NIL. In our batch, most of the students got placed and many offer letters but the only disadvantage was the offers were not from the core companies.
