Course Curriculum Overview

This course offer a project based learning including mini project and seminar which influenced me to choose this curriculum. The syllabus are prepared to solve real world problems and help us apply our knowledge in real world applications. The curriculum is precisely developed each topics having 5 modules.

Class Size: 50Course Fees: INR 60000 per year

Placement Experience

Every year many students are getting placement with high package. From 4th year onwards one can attend placements.College also provides placement assistant. The average package is 3.5lpa and the highest is 18lpa.About 80% of students are getting placed.Companies like TCS congnixant qburst l and t are most often visited.

Fees and Financial Aid

The course is for 4 years having 8 semester. In each semester one has to pay the tuition fee amount to around 5000 plus bus fee and exam fee so total amount is around 6500 to 7000 per semester .So in 4 years it amount to around 60000.Scholarships like egrantz are available.

Campus Life

The campus life is nice and peaceful. The campus is situated in a city where all accessories are available at finger tip.All classrooms are smart and furnitures are well maintained .Seminar halls are fully air conditioned. There are lot clubs to extract your hidden talents.Friendly nature campus

Admission

Inorder to get into the College one has to first register for KEAM entrance examination and should attend and score good rank.The cut off to get into Electronics and communications engineering is candidate should have rank below 7000 in case of state merit for reservation it varies.The eligibility of course is one should pass +2 with physics chemistry and mathematics as there subject

It has a high placement record with dedicating tarining and placement cell. Students are eligible for campus placements starting from sixth semester. The college attarcts a wide range of companies, including major IT recruiters like TCS, Infosys,Wipro and accenture as well as core companies like Bosch. Placement Experience:

At the final year (4thyear) students are eligible for their placement opportunities. Companies such as 6D technology, aremia and soti, Ashok Leyland etc are offering placement opportunities. More than 85percentage of students are getting job via placement. Personally my plan after degree is to write the MVD exam.

Remarks:

If you want to be in a controlled environment, focus on academics, make use of some good placement opportunities, and get somewhere career-wise I would be suggesting Amrita University.

An honest review of GCE KANNUR by a student

The college is merit based admission college, to get admission in this college you have to write an entrance exam which is KEAM and I have a rank of 16000 in KEAM So the college I first confirmed admission was GEC Kozhikode which was a good college but the campus was too small so there was a spot admission which was held by GCE kannur and I applied for it The admission process is managed by KEAM they give you a date to take admission and the process gets done in 2hrs you have to be physically present with your parents , The overall admission experience was smooth and well managed by the faculties...Read More
