Course Curriculum Overview

We have experienced facuilities with great qualification. Electronics and comunication engineering has great scope and placement opportunities.great lab facilities and assistant for assist.it helps in real world applications or further academic pursuits.

Class Size: 76Course Fees: INR 52000 per year

The university also provide intership facilities for students.from second semester onwards the university provide intership facilities .the university also provide stipends.many big companies provide intership also

After semester 6,students become eligible for campus placements.many big companies also visited University and around 90Percentage of the students get placements in different companies the highest salary package is 12 lpa

The fees structure is main three types they are state merit,all India merit and nri and the fees amount are different.they university also provide many scholarship or financial aids for students .the university also provide intership opportunities

The university also conduct many fest and activities .the technical fest named dhishna conduct mainly on the months of November and december.the university also conduct sports and extracurricular activities.

To get admission in the university,first you have to write the cat entrance exam .lt was a 3hour exam with difficulty level moderate.The admission is based on the rank list and there are also many reservation to.The application details can be obtain through online.

Placement Experience:

The placement here is top notch. This year in my campus the highest CTC offered was 56.5lpa by PALOALTO. Placements process is centralised at coimbatore though. Students are eligible for campus placements from third year or s5. Average package in computing department ranges from 10-12lpa. My plans after degree is to pursue MS: opportunities of which are provided by the college itself. In computing department almost 90% of the students have been placed according to the seniors I talked to. However it is lower in other streams.

Placement Experience:

As of what i spoke to the seniors they said that AI students got better placements compared to Core students and the average package is around 9LPA for CSE branches students and 7LPA overall for all the branches and there is CIR foundation classes where they teach us how to improve our communication skills and How to create a resume right from first year itself according to seniors it is very helpfull

An aspiring first year student’s review

Placement Experience:

Civil engineering is a course with least placement in every engineering colleges. Students are placed during their fourth year in college. Sobha Constructions Ltd is one of the main companies that visits college. 200000rupees package is the average package offered. Les than 25 percent civil engineers get placed. I plan to prepare for GATE exam and pursue more in this course.

My journey at CUSAT: A students perspective

I also wrote KEAM exam along with CUSAT in which I was able to secure a rank well enough to get Mechanical Engineering in CET, Trivandrum which I got in allotment. But since my mind was already set to take ECE as my degree due to my interest and passion for electronics and computers. And yes I do recomment CUSAT to everyone. To join CUSAT you have to write the CUSAT CAT entrance exams and then the seat are allotted based on the rank you earn in the entrance examinations. And usually a rank around 1k can get you CS, 1.5k can get you ECE and SFE, 2k can get you IT, 3.5k can get you EE and 7k can get you ME and CE....Read More
