Course Curriculum Overview

Cusat curriculum is really good. Compared to other Kerala college cusat curriculum is hard. Cusat will make you industry ready before graduation. Cusat give you more idea about your branch even from first year.

Class Size: 120Course Fees: INR 60000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Cusat has different fee structure according to reservation. For keralite students through state merit fee for one semester is 30000. And for Indian students through national merit 60000 . For SC / ST students it is 250 .

Campus Life

Cusat campus life is really good. Campus life and mingling with all types of cultures is really good experience. Cusat also have wide Verity of clubs .Clubs also provide really good opportunity to students to evolve.

Admission

Cusat addmission process was really good.cut off for cusat cat exam was 15 % for general and 7.5 % for SC/ST . Document handing was done in college. cat exam will conduct once per year. Engineering entrance exam will be conducted on physics, Chemistry and maths.

from semister 6 students become eligible for campus placements and companies loke bank of america , google microsoft etc visited for campus placements and the highest package is about 54 lakhs where as average is 11 lakhs and about 98% of the students are placed

Placement Experience:

The placement here is top notch. This year in my campus the highest CTC offered was 56.5lpa by PALOALTO. Placements process is centralised at coimbatore though. Students are eligible for campus placements from third year or s5. Average package in computing department ranges from 10-12lpa. My plans after degree is to pursue MS: opportunities of which are provided by the college itself. In computing department almost 90% of the students have been placed according to the seniors I talked to. However it is lower in other streams.

Average student experience at amrita

Placement Experience:

As of what i spoke to the seniors they said that AI students got better placements compared to Core students and the average package is around 9LPA for CSE branches students and 7LPA overall for all the branches and there is CIR foundation classes where they teach us how to improve our communication skills and How to create a resume right from first year itself according to seniors it is very helpfull

An aspiring first year student’s review

Placement Experience:

Civil engineering is a course with least placement in every engineering colleges. Students are placed during their fourth year in college. Sobha Constructions Ltd is one of the main companies that visits college. 200000rupees package is the average package offered. Les than 25 percent civil engineers get placed. I plan to prepare for GATE exam and pursue more in this course.

My journey at CUSAT: A students perspective

I also wrote KEAM exam along with CUSAT in which I was able to secure a rank well enough to get Mechanical Engineering in CET, Trivandrum which I got in allotment. But since my mind was already set to take ECE as my degree due to my interest and passion for electronics and computers. And yes I do recomment CUSAT to everyone. To join CUSAT you have to write the CUSAT CAT entrance exams and then the seat are allotted based on the rank you earn in the entrance examinations. And usually a rank around 1k can get you CS, 1.5k can get you ECE and SFE, 2k can get you IT, 3.5k can get you EE and 7k can get you ME and CE....Read More
