Remarks

Admission Process was divided into two parts 1. Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

Syllabus is up to date. MCA in Christ is a Trimester Programme with each semester spanning to 80 days. Students are very competitive. Because of the location you will get lots of opportunities. Curriculum is hectic, too hectic I would say, you won't get any personal time. Every other day there is either Test, evaluations, presentation, event or some other activity. So you won't be ideal.

Fees and Financial Aid

From 2024 tution fees has been increased to 2,19,000 per year. Hostel fee is in the range of 58,000-80,000. Since it is a self financed course there is no scholarships for student. You can get internship offer from Christ Consulting

Campus Life

3

There are 2 flagship events of MCA. 1. Gateways which is national level fest. 2. Revelation which is Departmental fest. One thing that Christ University doesn't lack is events, every other day there is some event happening. Library is excellent.

Placement Experience:

Placements in our college are average. Students become eligible for campus placements from the 2nd semester. Some companies visit the college and offer jobs in different roles. The average package is around 3-4 LPA and the highest package depends on the company. After completing my degree, I plan to get a good job and gain experience in my field

Placements are good...lot of my friends got placed. But it even depends on individual intrests. At starting you get paid less but later on experience u can earn more. In case if placement doesn't happen you will still have the chance to explore outside.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The MCA course curriculum is well structured, relevant, and comprehensive. It covers core computer science subjects such as programming, data structures, databases, software engineering, and practical lab work, which influenced my decision to choose this course. The curriculum provides a strong foundation for both real-world applications and further academic pursuits. With the support of good and experienced faculty, concepts are explained clearly through theory, practical sessions, assignments, and projects. Exams are conducted on a semester basis with internal assessments and end-semester examinations. The frequency and timing of exams are appropriate, and the difficulty level is moderate. Students who attend classes regularly and follow faculty guidance can perform well.
