Christ University MCA : Fees 2025, Course Duration, Dates, Eligibility

Admission to Christ (Deemed to be University) requires applying online, attending an exam and interview, and confirming admission by paying the required fee. Classes begin a month after securing admission. The Computer Science Department has over 50 PhD-qualified faculty members, aged between 30 and 35, known for their supportiveness and friendliness. Students have to undergo multiple exams, including monthly CIAs, alongside ESE and ETE components. The MCA program, previously a three-year course with a fee of 4.5 lakh INR, is now a two-year course, with updated fees yet to be disclosed due to COVID-19.

Annual placements feature 700+ companies, including Cerner, Meltwater, Dell, Accenture, Infosys, and Deloitte. Eligibility for placements starts in the 5th semester, provided students have no backlogs. The highest package last year was 33 lakhs, with an average of 6 lakhs, and MCA students reported a top package of 8 LPA. Internships, mandatory after the 5th semester, offer stipends between 5,000 and 7,000 monthly. Tuition fees are Rs. 1.5 lakh for the first year and Rs. 1.45 lakh for the second year, increasing to Rs. 2,19,000 per year from 2024.

Additional fees include Rs. 5,000 for admission and hostel fees ranging from Rs. 58,000 to Rs. 80,000. Total costs differ by location: Rs. 2,24,000 for non-local students, Rs. 1,95,000 for those from Kerala, and Rs. 2,05,000 for Karnataka residents. No scholarships are provided for this self-financed course, but merit-based and government/private scholarships are available.
